NSS interface lists all domain users but gives error on single user
Hello Rowland,
I changed nsswitch.conf as suggested, but I still have the same result.

If I list all users, I get all users. Let's display the end of the list
using both wbinfo and getent:
root at kubuntu-test:~# wbinfo -u | tail -2

weighted average grouped by variables
Dear Massimo,
It seems straightforward to use weighted.mean() in a dplyr context
library(dplyr)
mydf %>%
group_by(date_time, type) %>%
summarise(vel = weighted.mean(speed, n_vehicles))

weighted average grouped by variables
Hello
an update about my question: I worked out the following solution (with the package "dplyr")
library(dplyr)
mydf%>%
mutate(speed_vehicles=n_vehicles*mydf$speed) %>%
group_by(date_time,type) %>%
summarise(
sum_n_times_speed=sum(speed_vehicles),
n_vehicles=sum(n_vehicles),
vel=sum(speed_vehicles)/sum(n_vehicles)
)
In fact I was hoping to manage everything in a

samba ad errors in log
I'm seeing a lot of these errors from a Samba 4.13.0 DC running on
Debian Buster, the smb.conf is untouched from that which was created
via a classic upgrade.

I don't think we should attempt to mangle symbols declared in assembly
source files. If you're writing assembly, you will need to handle ABI
portability, including the _ prefix on win32 x86.
clang will run the C preprocessor for you if you use the .S file suffix
(case matters).

Bug#808624: Invalid argument while starting daemon
Package: xen-hypervisor-4.4-amd64
Version:?4.4.1-9+deb8u3
Severity: important
I just upgraded a machine used for hosting a few VM with Xen. The
machine was running debian squeeze, so I updated to wheezy and then
jessie. Xen is now version 4.4, cpu is 64 bits, dom0 is 32 bits
userland with 64 bits kernel?3.16.0-4-amd64.
Grub correctly load Xen and dom-0, in fact:
# cd /sys/hypervisor/version; cat

cannot mount ext3 boot partition as r/w since 2.6.30
Hi all,
I am testing new kernel on a mips machine (64 bits for kernel, 32 bits
userland) and I found a problem when mounting the root file system. It
is an ext3 file system that is correctly mounted as read only. While
booting the system remount the file system as read/write and keep
starting all daemons.
Moving from 2.6.26 to 2.6.30 kernel, I get this error while remounting
the file system

weighted average grouped by variables
Hi
Thanks for working example.
you could use split/ lapply approach, however it is probably not much better than dplyr method.
sapply(split(mydf, mydf$type), function(speed, n_vehicles) sum(mydf$speed*mydf$n_vehicles)/sum(mydf$n_vehicles))
gives you averages
aggregate(mydf$n_vehicles, list(mydf$type), sum)$x
gives you sums
Cheers
