Samba4: no --use-ntvfs option on samba-tool ntacl sysvolcheck
In samba-tool, sysvolreset has options for either --use-ntvfs or --use-s3fs to set the permissions appropriately However, sysvolcheck does not have the same capability, and always attempts to verify in s3 vfs. Is this a known limitation in Samba 4.0.0 ?

That's not a problem its just a ACL provisioning message as you can see the result was "DAG:DAD:PAI" but expected was "O:DAG:DAD:PAR" that's "normal" ;-) just ignore it or do a "samba-tool ntacl sysvolreset" Am 19.10.23 um 17:27 schrieb bd730c5053df9efb via samba: > Hi! > > I executed the command "samba-tool ntacl sysvolcheck"

Problems with sysvolcheck
Hello, I have problems getting GPOs applied on clients. Running the command samba-tool ntacl sysvolcheck I get a file not found error. I have tried to provision the domain in a virtual machine and transfer the sysvol files with rsync But the problem persists. samba version: 4.4.5 how could completely remove the default policy to try to fix the problem? Best regards, Santiago. --
