LDAP_MATCHING_RULE_IN_CHAIN no longer working after upgrade?
Thank you Andrew and Rowland. (Rowland - I tried 'samba-tool dsacl get', thank you! but found the output hard to decipher so I used ldp.exe on Windows instead in the end) On Wed, 22 Nov 2023 at 20:22, Andrew Bartlett <abartlet at samba.org> wrote: > > On Wed, 2023-11-22 at 17:33 +0000, Jonathan Hunter wrote: > > Are permissions checked in a hiearchical fashion, i.e. if

Re: libvirt/dnsmasq is not adhering to static DHCP assignments
Hi, It looks like that's the issue: # cat /var/lib/libvirt/dnsmasq/osc_mgmt.hostsfile 52:54:00:2c:85:92,192.168.80.1,openstack-controller-00 But it makes me wonder...libvirt should be generating and managing this file right? Do I need to edit this myself or should libvirt be updating this file? If so then why isn't it? On Mon, Oct 30, 2017 at 5:21 AM, Yalan Zhang

rake db:migrate debacle
Hi there - I''m a ruby newbie and am stuck on the Getting Started with Rails app. See output below. Problem arose when I ran the rake db:migrate command. I also tried the ''rake db:migrate RAILS_ENV=development'' command which may be obvious. Any ideas on how to fix this? Many thanks!! $ ruby -v ruby 1.9.3p392 (2013-02-22 revision 39386) [x86_64-darwin10.8.0]

I replaced my development machine with 6 cores, 32 GB etc. I thought it would be simply inserting the existing HDDs and changing /etc/sysconfig/ifcfg-eth0 but, * in the UEFI "BIOS" USB2 and USB3 work. * in C5.11 USB2 works but USB3 does not. * in C6.5 (my install disk; OS be updated to C6.8) USB2 works but USB3 does not. Re: XSA-36 / howto fix broken IVRS ACPI table
I have the same motherboard. The chipset has 2 IOAPICs: one in the NB (00:00.1), and another in the SB (00:14.0). As currently configured by the BIOS, the NB IOAPIC is _entirely_ disabled, with only the SB IOAPIC enabled and configured. From 48693.pdf, it would seem that the NB is improperly configured, as 6.4.1 recommends that "The IOAPIC should be enabled by the system BIOS and the

motherboard for cents 6.3
Seems like overnight every motherboard that worked with linux has DROPPED off the face of the earth. Every motherboard I looked at is using the realtek 8111 chipset and a northbridge that is not supported. Example: GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3, does not work with linux I tried disabling the onboard NIC and using a PCI-E intel card I always use and that would not work either. The north or south bridge

I contacted the manufacturer of the mainboard/BIOS and they want to help me by providing a patched BIOS - so far so good. However, they need details about what to fix, which I don''t know either. Could you pls. give me some hints which I can forward to the

IOMMU/AMD-Vi not working after XSA-36 with 970A-UD3
Dear mailinglist, I own a Gigabyte motherboard GA 970A UD3 with IOMMU support. Since the update XSA-36 (also part of the latest debian wheezy pkg), the IO-Virtualisation does not work any more as discussed on this mailinglist [0] and [1]. I like to ask, if there is an "official" solution in sight. I''m not sure about my alternatives. How "dangerous" is the
