Samba4 - Printer Drivers install fails
Hi, I have a question about printer drivers management in Samba4 (Samba version 4.7.6, Ubuntu 18) I use MMC to add new drivers to an existing cups printers, and some of them are simply refused. I know the samba4/cups server is operationnal as i'm able to add new printers or drivers to it through MMC. I guess it's not a permission problem on the server as i perform the operation as

samba and openldap authentication issues!

Adding printer stops with "Operation could not be completed"

CUPS not rendering documents via Samba
Hi guys, any CUPS / Samba experts out there? The CUPS printing guide is a horrendous maze of options. I've got nearly there but I've got one thing wrong and I don't know where to look. I set up our two printers (HP K5400s) using the GUI printer tool. Both print the test page just fine. I set up the [printers] and [print$] shares and can browse to the printers from Windows (XP for me)

I am trying to map existing users to their old home folders (moved over from a windows box), I have authentication up and running great. And I have all my shares setup and working except for the users home folders. Does this look like a local permission issue? Can't add printer drivers.
I am having quite some difficulty adding printer drivers to the print$ share of my Linux box. Here are the details: Debian Gnu/Linux with kernel 2.4.18 on a Sun Ultra 2. Samba version 2.2.3a.
