Winbind group membership not updating
Hej,
There are no Linux users (above 1000 that is), and there never will be.
net cache flush does absolutely nothing.
I've already suspected that the version might be at fault and checked
4.7.0 with the same result.
I suspect the problem is not a bug per se, but an architectural problem
with how sessions are constructed. As far as I can tell, group
membership is resolved once at the

Winbind group membership not updating
Hai,
Now you have overlapping id's.
idmap config *:range = 1000 - 99999
I suggest, leave some room for your "linux users"
Like : idmap config *:range = 2000 - 99999
In addition, also, run : net cache flush
And run :
systemctl stop winbind
sleep 1
systemctl start winbind
Then.. what does : id Administrator
Tells you now.
And id someOtheruser?

Only local users, of course.
Seems this is the culprit. I've tried 'quota' and works as expected:
root at vdmsv1:~# quota -su gaio
Disk quotas for user gaio (uid 10000):

One user getting: "Primary group is 0 and contains 0 supplementary groups" on standalone server
Greetings,
We are having some rights issues on Samba 3.6.18 running on Slackware64
14.0 (the official Slackware Package). One of our users is having
access issues and I believe I have traced the problem to the following
entry in the log.smbd:
Primary group is 0 and contains 0 supplementary groups
Issuing the groups command for this user returns the 8 Linux groups in
which the user has

Domain member server: user access
Well, what i can say is.
The Resolving inconsistant on DC with AD backend. GID 100 and 10000 is only on the DC's.
My member servers are all checked now, ( 4.5.8 4.5.14 4.6.5 4.6.7 4.6.8 ) these are consistant.
The sort solution is, run on the DC:
net cache flush
And check again for example with getent passwd username or id username
And dont touch the DC, after an upgrade, again run :

Define a custom-built loss function and combine it with nls()
Dear R helpers,
For an allometric analysis (allometric equation y = a*x^b) I would like
to apply a non-linear regression instead of using log-log
transformations of the measured parameters x and y and a Model II linear
regression. Since both of the variables x and y are random, I would like
to apply a Model II non-linear analog of either Reduced Major Axis or
Major Axis Regression.

Browsercam.com Annual Membership
I have been using browsercam.com for CSS testing, but it is rather
expensive. Recently, I discovered others using funadable.org to
purchase a yearly membership as a group.
A year long membership at browsercam.com costs $480.00. This gives us
25 user accounts. I am proposing that 25 people throw in $19.20 for
their 1/25th share of the membership cost. Once I have raised $479.40

Authenticate against NT Domain Group Membership
Hola folks,
How do I configure a share under Samba 2.2 using DOMAIN security to allow
all members of a specified NT domain group access to a particular share?
For example, something like:
[test]
comment = Test Share
path = /mnt/share/test
nt group = Nice-users, Wonderful Users
Where Nice-users and Wonderful Users are NT domain groups? So if User X is
a member of Nice-users, she would be

Reloading smbd session process group membership cache
So the problem is that smbd session processes will forever cache the POSIX
group memberships that the logged in user possesses. Consider a following
example:
*smb.conf: *
[share_a]
path = /mnt/a
valid users = dude
*ls -l /mnt:*
drwxrwxr-x root group_a a
*/etc/group:*
group_a:*:2000:user
Now, a client mounts *share_a* as *dude* and has R/W access to it via his
*group_a* group membership.
Then,

Package for multiple membership model?
Hello all:
I am interested in computing what the multilevel modeling literature calls a multiple membership model. More specifically, I am working with a data set involving clients and providers. The clients are the lower-level units who are nested within providers (higher-level). However, this is not nesting in the usual sense, as clients can belong to multple providers, which I understand

nlme questions (e.g., specifying group membership, changing options)
I'm trying to better understand the nlme package and have a few questions.
1.)
Other than using various coding strategies (e.g., dummy coding, effect coding), is there a way to identify group membership (i.e., treatment) directly? For example, the following code will fit a two group logistic growth curve (where 'Score' is repeatedly measured over 'Time' for each of the

About the membership issue
Concerning the disabled membership (yesterday). Is there anything that I should do?
Visiting the "re-enable" link shows only a plain site with meta information about
