I suspect this issue is caused by samba4 not being the master browser.
Running smbclient -L on the AD server returns nothing for the master
browser:

RSAT Print Management won't show shared printers under the "Printers" section
Hello,
currently I am trying to setup a Samba environment (Samba AD DC, Samba Fileserver, Samba Printserver) using Samba version 4.5.8-Debian and CUPS version 2.2.1-8 on Debian 9 "Stretch". I am trying to setup "Point'n'Print" atm.
While my Active Directory domain and the fileserver work well with my Windows 7 clients, I am having some issues with the printserver.

Slow Samba transfer
Hi,
this is my first pos here, please be lenient.
My problem shuld be a FAQ and, in fact I found a lot of references
googling around, but nothing could really solve my problem, so here I am.
I have a Samba server:
Very basic wheezy amd64 installation on a small VIRTUAL server (Xen).
Only fancy thing is direct access to a couple of RAID1 (mirror) arrays
where data is stored.

samba 4.8x problem
Dear all,
We are using samba domain and i upgraded the samba from 4.7.9 to 4.8.9.
With the old version, people in our domain can view and can share the
folders without asking password and the people that out of the domain can
view and shared the folders with
writing \\IP_ADDRESS PROMPT USERNAME: PASSWORD. with the new version,
there is no problem about viewing and sharing folders with the

Samba AD DC: share access denied
Hey Samba,
For the last year I've been trying to set up a Samba Active Directory with a share which will hold the profiles of users so that Windows users can be implemented with the roaming profiles functionality.
I started out with an Ubuntu Server 16.04 LTS on which I configured routing, forwarding and dhcp. After which I followed the Setting up Samba as an Active Directory Domain

Small file performance
Hi All,
We are experiencing painfully slow performance when transferring many
small files via Samba. We are currently running Samba 4.5.1, although
based on my searches the version doesn't seem to make any difference and
this is a long standing problem.
The servers, both the primary file server and the testbed, have dual
bonded 10Gb NICs and the client network is 1Gb.

Samba 4 migration from dead SBS 2003
Hello,
I have successfully joined a SBS 2003 (SRVACMPDC01) domain with two
additional Samba 4 DCs (SAMBA4PDC and SAMBA4DEDI, currently both
4.0.4-GIT-9899851). Everything worked fine: DNS / AD replication etc.
The windows server was still responsible for DNS / DHCP / all FSMO
roles. Now the original SBS 2003 crashed and refuses to start again
(long story).
In order to get a temporary workaround
