Error Removing Samba Server from Domain
Hi,
I removed the last server (samba4-dc-old listed below) from the domain, but
information related to that server remained. Is there any way to remove
this registry from Samba 4?

Transfer the FSMO roles
I've been thinking if it's better to make a new Samba 4 DC server instead
upgrade the old DC and then transfer the FSMO roles to it and shut down the
old server.
This way the installation would be cleaner and free of any errors of the
old installation.
I'm using Samba 4.2.1 and the result of command below is:
root at EMPRESA:~# samba-tool fsmo show

Error Removing Samba Server from Domain
hmm,
?
Well based on what i see, that error comes at the end of this process, so strange it errors out.
Beside that your output looks good.
?
You can try to install these, if its python problem
Run samba-toold drs showrepl? after every install, that helps in detecting which package you might miss.
?
apt install python-dnspython
?
apt install python-iso8601
?
apt install python-crypto

Error Removing Samba Server from Domain
Hi,
Is the problem because of the Samba version?
Since my Windows server is 2008 and was having trouble joining the Samba
4.10 on domain , I chose to install Samba from the very old Debian 9
repository (apt-get).
Now that Samba is in the domain I want to upgrade to 4.10.
Is there a problem updating Debian 4-5-16 from the Van Belle repository (
http://apt.van-belle.nl/)?
I believe this may

Problems with samba 4.6.3
I have two DC with Samba 4.2.1 and now I have set up a third DC with Samba
4.6.3. I have executed the command: samba-tool domain join empresa.com.br
DC -U "EMPRESA\administrator" --dns-backend = SAMBA_INTERNAL
And everything went well, however with the command: samba-tool drs showrepl
The following message appears:
root at dc3:/home/marcio# /usr/local/samba/bin/samba-tool drs

I think this relates to the previous problem you posted about
replication not working (which is probably due to the
WERR_DS_DRA_SCHEMA_MISMATCH error you're hitting).
I think the demote command is trying to replicate out to another DC one
last time, so that you don't lose any local modifications to the local
DC's database. This is failing.
Try using the --remove-other-dead-server

DomainDnsZones inbound replication issue
Greetings,
I am having a problem with one of my DCs (DC3) replicating DomainDnsZones. On DC3 replication is successful on both Inbound and Outbound with both of my other DCs. On both of my other DCs (DC1 & DC2) I only get a failure with Inbound replication for DomainDnsZones from DC3 with a result 8442 (WERR_DS_DRA_INTERNAL_ERROR).
If I try to force replication to DC3 from DC1 using

Error Removing Samba Server from Domain
Try :
samba-tool dbcheck
samba-tool dbcheck --cross-nc
( and fix if needed )
And samba-tool dbcheck --reindex
! On all the samba DC's !

DomainDnsZones inbound replication issue
Here's my edited smb.conf and the output of the testparm. As you can see I'm not setting that in my smb.conf and it appears to be turned on by default in Samba 4.4.4. I was going to update Samba on DC1 to 4.4.4 as well, but haven't done that yet. It's currently on 4.2.3. Should I upgrade that as well before changing anything else? Thanks!
