[PATCH 00/13] Patch blast of salsa wip.testme branch
The contents are the wip.testme branch currently on salsa. I combined the wip.initscript and wip.oxenstored into this and added more things today. I think this is pretty gtg and it's smoke tested (in several cases by scping files around instead of doing package build), so it needs a final extra review and test round before putting it in master branch (which I don't want to force push). Thanks, Rowland. I'll give it some thought. At this point, I may even go back to slackware or gentoo. It is a bit much learning all the new system tools (systemd, systemctl, firewalld, NetworkManager, etc.) while moving from a samba standalone configuration to AD/DC, DNS, Kerberos, all for the first time. I'm also considering calling Pantek.com - - - I've had some very good

Mongrel as Windows service with normal privileges
I am trying to run Mongrel 1.1.5 with mongrel_service 0.3.4 on Ruby 1.8.6 with a "normal" user account, i.e. a user which belongs only to the Windows group "Users". The rationale behind this is that running a web server with full administrative rights (e.g. Local System) is not something that I would like to do. Unfortunately, starting the service from the services control

Fwd: Installing EnterpriseSamba (Sernet-samba) on Ubuntu
I will add here that my server provisioned yesterday afternoon. However, I did not have time to do any testing. So, this morning testing and the first thing I discovered was "sernet-samba-ad" service was NOT running. I found a Debian Wheezy sernet samba posting (via Google) and within it read that users need to edit "/etc/default/sernet-samba" as follows: # ---- SETUP
