Re: entered bc_action_emit with filelen:
Hi,
I'm still getting the errors below on Debian Etch with Dovecot 1.0.8-4
and Dovecot LDA.
Is this something that's fixed in 1.0.9?
It doesn't seem to have an effect but I'm wary of messages I don't
recognise!
Regards,
Alex

visibility of groups when multiple Samba servers use the same LDAP server
Hi,
we are using a _single_ LDAP server as backend for _multiple_ Samba
standalone file servers (security=user). This LDAP server serves mainly
other purposes and access for Samba is read only so the situation is not
optimal but "it works for us". Still I don't understand one phenomenon
concerning visibility of LDAP groups.
The LDAP configuration in smb.conf for all our Samba

WinXP/WordXP "Read-only" problem
I'm experimenting with Samba 2.2.7a in my home office-- all is well except
only I can open my Word files copied to our Samba share.
All other users can only open them "Read-only".
Please help me correct this.
Thanks,

Winbind authentication from different domain not working
We are running winbind(4.6.2) on member server(CentOS 7) connected to a Active directory domain.
1 Forest with 2 domains with a 2 way trust between them.
We want users from “DOMAIN A” be able to logon(via SSH) on a server "SERVER01" in “DOMAIN B”.
This works well if the “SERVER01" in "DOMAIN B” can talk directly to “DOMAIN A” but when their is a firewall between “SERVER01”

continuous time AR(1)
Dear R helpers,
I would like to model temporal trend of biological remains in sediment cores.
All samples are temporally auto-correlated and I would like to take this effect
into account.
Initially I thought that I could use AR(1) or ARIMA functions but these
functions only work with regular temporal intervals between samples.
Hence I would like to use a continuous time AR(1) that allow

getent group is not working
getent group is not working in an opensuse 13.1 member server for an active directory samba 4 domain
wbinfo -u, wbinfo -g, wbinfo -t and getent passwd | grep SIENIC are working, these are my configuration files and the output of the commands.
Note: the domain controller has samba installed from source (4.1.11), the member server has the distro packages installed (4.1.0)

it no longer works.
Here is the command i use:
virt-install -n server01 -r 512 --os-variant=virtio26 -c /isos/c5u5.iso

Advanced SIP management
Hello:
I would like to use Asterisk as a redirect/proxy sip server to route SIP
calls on a sip header/parameter basis.
I've tried some things successfully:
- SIP registration from clients.
- On-the-fly compression for wan VoIP transfers:
SIP G.711 --> GSM IAX --> (wan) --> GSM IAX --> SIP G.711
- Sending custom parameters in URI:

Samba and kerberized NFSv4
Hi Marcel
thx. for your fast response. I didn't manage to follow up sooner. I had already verbose logging turned on but I don't seem to find the real reason, why the domain controller searchs for a userPrincipalName instead of servicePrincipalName.
Because I wasn't sure whether it is the nfs client process or the server process that failed to get the kerberos ticket when I tried the

System Operators (S-1-5-21-1617713866-2789119093-1479812082-1007) -> sys
In howto there is the following example
net groupmap modify ntgroup="System Operators" unixgroup=sys
net groupmap modify ntgroup="Power Users" unixgroup=sys
You can add System Operators but trying to add Power Users fails. If you do it in reverse
