Not getting CID Name from PRI
Having a problem w/ not getting CID name from a PRI. CID Name appears in
the PRI debug, but even after a Wait(4) it still appears after the phone is
ringing. Here is the relevant info from my PRI debug output. Line 4 is a
NoOp showing me trying to echo Name and Number. Line 6 dials the
extension, and you can see callerid name get presented on line 29. Again,

Plotting question
Hi I have a data set that needs to be plotted (see below)
When I plot it using the simple plot(read_count ~ Cn), I get box plots for
the read_count numbers plotted according to Cn. The Cn's on the x-axis are
ordered: 10000, 100, 1000, 40, 400, 4000...
How do I plot so that Cn is plotted on the x-axis in an ascending order: 40,
60, 80, .......10000?
Thanks for your help.

Rpart - best split selection for class method and Gini splitting index
Dear R-users,
I'm working with the Rpart package and trying to understand how the
procedure select the best split in the case the method "class" and the
splitting index "Gini" are used. In particular I'd like to have look to the
source code that works out the best split for un unordered predictor.
Does anyone can suggest me which functions in the sources I should

Help interpreting output of Rprof
Hello there,
I am not quite sure how to interpret the output of Rprof (in the following the output I was staring at). I was poking around the web a little bit for documentation but without much success. I guess if I want to figure out what takes so long in my code the 2nd table $by.total and the total.pct column (pct = percent) is the most helpful. What does it mean that [ or [.data.frame is

Rails 3.0.6.rc1
ZOMG HAPPY TUESDAY (UTC-7)!!! <3<3<3<3<3
I am happy to announce that the first release candidate for Rails 3.0.6 has
been pushed to rubygems.org.
## Release Candidate: What does it mean?
The release candidate is very similar to what we will actually release for
version 3.0.6. The reason that we release an RC is so that the community can
have a chance to postpone or veto commits

I appear to be attacking others
It looks like my CentOS 4.2 box is attacking other people with some type
of ftp attack. I got an email from somebody saying they were being
attacked by my IP address.
Further investigation /var/log/messages shows a whole bunch of sshd
attacks on me, none of which appear successful. I'm running ethereal
right now and I can see that my system is doing some kind of ftp attacks
on others.

DTMF integration pana d500
Yes and No
The D500 is a terrible thing
First problem: it sends some horrible DTMF, so if your voicemail is
configured to send #H and *H, it will not work, configure it to send
numbers, like 8H and 9H (H is a placeholder for the extension).
I also managed to use the MWI (message light), it's a perl script that
is in voip-info.org, but with a little correction because the wiki
distorted it.

Well I'm not sure this kind of support is included, but even if it were,
then others would not benefit from the dialogue with their support. :-)

Frequent RRL false negatives when using multiple server processes on Linux
Hi,
Please advise how to use Response Rate Limiting on a server which has
multiple NSD server processes (nsd.conf server section has server-count
> 1).
We have a problem with NSD v3.2.16 repeatedly unblocking and blocking
again a single source which is flooding positive queries at a ~steady
700 qps rate. rrl-ratelimit setting is the default 200 qps. The
unblock-block happens multiple times

Upgrading from older version - how?
Hi there,
We''ve been using previous version of bdrb (drb based one) for a while
and it was running relatively OK. We recently attempted to upgrade to
the new version to keep up / use supported version but we ended up
reverting to the older version.
Here are the things that moved us to revert :
1) With the workers we never manage to pass this error:
