The problem here is that sssd does not know sernet-samba-libs is also providing samba-libs or get the source of sssd and change/add the sernet-samba-libs in de Depens of the source yourself. or ask the sssd developers to add this. Can't join machine without full access

( and work ) work = fun in my case, to bad fun is also work.. and im 42.. so a spring chicken also.. ;-) and yes, jessie uses systemd ... so.. ? didnt make any differents for me in the setup of samba and cups. I dont get al this hassle... ( again ) Sernet works fine, all my server (DCs/member) are useing sernet samba. Only not my proxy servers. these backported samba.. ( because of a modified squid im using) You just need to setup as the wiki says. nss/winbind does work, yes, there is 1 missing file, just created it. ( and this is not needed on a DC ! ) winbind does work, but on DC winbind a bit
