sssd-ad cannot be installed with sernet samba
As I have said: sssd-ad works fine with sernet packages on redhat based distros.
Have you tried this?
apt-get install sssd-ad samba-libs-

Found here:
http://serverfault.com/questions/250224/how-do-i-get-apt-get-to-ignore-some-dependencies
After this, try to resolve the dependencies of the sssd-ad.so file as I have written.

sssd does not know sernet-samba-libs is also providing samba-libs
or get the source of sssd and change/add the sernet-samba-libs in de Depens of the source yourself.
or ask the sssd developers to add this.
Its not that hard..
apt-get install build-essentials
apt-get source sssd
modify the needed in sourcemap/Debian/
apt-get source -b
wait... and you have your

Can't join machine without full access
Sernet samba 4.2.2 in ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS, a fresh migration from samba 3
(I'm still in the testing phase).
I'm experimenting with task delegation.
Using the ADUC wizard, I select the "Join machine to domain" task to add
to my userid (I also tried a group I'm a member of with the same
result), at the domain level (rough translation, this is on a localized
windows 7).

see the defaults of smb.conf : testparm -vv | grep "server services"

now you know what the defaults are.., now for example my DC.
testparm -vv ( on the DC, samba-tool testparm -vv | grep "server services" )
gives back:
server services = s3fs, rpc, nbt, wrepl, ldap, cldap, kdc, drepl,

4.2.1 Indexing attributes
Thank you a lot Luca!
I was able to change searchFlags using ldbedit command and I can't test
right now the ldbmodify tool as samba seems to be indexing it's database
(one thread eating 100% CPU for several minute, since I launched a
ldbsearch on "uid" field).
I'll try without my typo error (thank you again :) the ldbmodify command
