How to get rid of misspelled DNA entry?
Hi,
I found a way to delete these ghost entries. All you need is an LDAP
tool like Apache Directory Studio. Then you connect via LDAP to the AD.
Inside the LDAP tree is a subtree named msdns (or similiar, I'm not able
to access my workstation at the moment). There you can find the buggy
entry and delete it. Before deleting something it's perhaps a good idea
to make a backup of the samba

Well, not so simple...
I tried

Easy job with the right tool!
Open Apache Directory Studio, select the LDAP browser -> New Connection
Enter the server/hostname: dc1.samdom.com -> next
Select simple authentication, user: samdom\administrator, password
Check authentication and connect.
Browse to the corresponding DNS entry:
LDAP-Browser

DC=DomainDnsZones,DC=samdom,DC=com

Argument 'dim' misspelled in error message
Hi,
The following error message misspells the name of
the 'dim' argument:
> array(integer(0), dim=integer(0))
Error in array(integer(0), dim = integer(0)) :
'dims' cannot be of length 0
The name of the argument is 'dim' not 'dims':
> args(array)
function (data = NA, dim = length(data), dimnames = NULL)
NULL

H.

Ghost DNS Entry (WERR_DNS_ERROR_RECORD_ALREADY_EXISTS)
Hallo,
I'm using Samba 4 AD in production now for more than a half year. All
works great since today. Today I was unable to access my network
printer by its hostname. So I looked up his DNS Entry using the
Windows DNS-Manager and recognized that the DNS entry for the printer
is missing. I tried to readd it, but got the error message that the
entry already exists.
Next I tried to remove an

following problem.
i have 3 tables in my database with each representing an object.
lets say
A belongs_to B belongs_to C.
when i do
my_a = A.find(:all)
i can access B as my_a.b and C as my_a.b.c
thats fine but rails querys the database each time i do that
so is use
my_a = A.find(:all, :include => :b)
works fine for my_a.b but not for my_a.b.c
so i tried
my_a = A.find(:all, :include

[LLVMdev] [RFC] unused argument warning
All,
I would like to propose a fairly significant change to the unused argument warning (i.e., removing it for the most part), but wanted to get some feedback before investing a great deal of time. In my opinion, the implementation of this warning is overly burdensome to maintain. Worse yet, there are _many_ cases where the driver intentionally claims unused arguments to prevent this warning

long-standing documentation bug in ?anova.lme
tl;dr anova.lme() claims to provide sums of squares, but it doesn't. And
some names are misspelled in ?lme. I can submit all this stuff as a bug
report if that's preferred.
?anova.lme says:
When only one fitted model object is present, a data frame with
the sums of squares, numerator degrees of freedom, denominator
degrees of freedom, F-values, and P-values

smbclient broken after update
Since a bit more than a year I run a Samba4 AD server on a Debian
testing box. During that period I did update and dist-update the
box about twice a week, and also did update and recompile Sambe,
i.e. Samba and Debian Jessie are on their latest stage. I use Bind
9.9.3 as name server, which works absolutely smooth.
But two days ago something got broken, and I am totally clueless,

4.0.1-3 was never uploaded. I guess you meant 4.1.0-3 instead?
(the changelog confirms that).
