User's DPAPI/backupkey protected data lost when changing domain password
For anybody interested in tracking when this is resolved for mainline samba4 there is now a bugzilla record here: https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10980 On 2 December 2014 at 11:52, Kirin van der Veer < kirin.vanderveer at planetinnovation.com.au> wrote: > Is there a corresponding bug number for the Samba bugzilla so that I can > track when this is fixed for vanilla samba?

User's DPAPI/backupkey protected data lost when changing domain password
After a user changes their password (CTRL-ALT-DEL) in our Samba 4 domain (4.1.12) they lose access to any stored passwords on their Windows PC. I've set the log level in smb.conf to 4 and enabled the GPO to record DPAPI log entries in Windows to get the below log data. My reading of the two is that the Windows PC believes it is failing to reset the access to its DPAPI store (where the saved

Simple directory question
Folks, I've been running an icecast server for about a year, and never really had the chance to test it out on the other side of our Internet link. We've had a lot of people trying us out, but very short connect times in the whole. I finally got a cable modem at home, tried having a listen, and found the stream to be very stuttery. So, first things first, I went and grabbed the

Multiple lattice plots on a page: aligning x-axes vertically
Dear R-help, I am creating a two lattice plots (a densityplot() and xyplot()) that have the same x-axes and then 'printing' them onto the same page, one above the other (see end of email for an example to generate the graph). With different labels on the y-axis for each plot the left spacing is different, and the x-axes don't align vertically. Although I can manually modify the

[LLVMdev] does new EH require newer linker?
Is the new EH scheme completely compatible with the existing linker in Xcode 4.1? channel.c:780 channel_find_locked: Avoided deadlock
Hi All. I have many days reading and research about asterisk and vicidial. I thing this issue is about asterisk and doesnt about vicidial. Isn't it? I have a problem with theses application (I already ask for help in vicidial forums), but I can not fix it. I have debian 5 with asterisk 1.2.24 and vicidial 2.0.4. This server has a IAX tunnel with another asterisk server B which connect to

Dynamic tags in email address
I'm trying to get dynamic tagging (user+sometag at example.com) to work on a mail server I'm setting up, however it only works as long as it's sent to the main user and not to aliases. virtual-alias-maps query: SELECT get_email_alias_dyn('%s') virtual-mailbox-domains query: SELECT 1 FROM domain WHERE name='%s' virtual-mailbox-maps query: SELECT 1 FROM user_alias

Zaptel, Line Impedence and Echo
Hi, I'm not sure if I just missed something somewhere along the way, but I noticed while I was going through the CVS logs that there is an option in the wcfxs module to set an "opermode" - which apparently might help with echo issues around the globe (like the ones I'm seeing - some times). So I'd love to use it and give it a go. Apparently, there are some options that

Latest CVS fax detection & grandstream bug
As a follow up to my previous post, I have now identified what is causing the bug with the grandstream phones. When the line faxdetection=incoming is in the zapata.conf file, the grandstream phones will not ring, nor connect a call to the zaptel interface. Can anyone else confirm this bug? I'm going to play with the different options (incoming/outgoing/both) to see if it makes a

Latest CVS, Grandstream and Zaptel bug?
Hi, I'm confused as anything by this bug. I'm hoping that it is just something screwy in my config. I have 1 Cisco 7960 and several Grandstream BT101 & 102's, and a Digium TDM31B. I'm running the latest CVS (CVS-HEAD-05/27/04-17:22:40) of both Asterisk and the Zaptel driver on Fedora Cora 1. When I make an outgoing call on the Cisco phone, everything works fine. I'm

Compiling on OSX 10.3.3
Hi, Just thought I'd let you guys know about my time in compiling on Panther. Not being the world's greatest Makefile expert, and after applying the patch suggested on this list (and modifying it so that the 7.2.0 was replaced by a 7.3.0 - for the latest Darwin kernel) I still had issues with my system requiring endian.h and byteswap.h . Being ignorant of most things, after much

Complaining Emails
Hi Everyone, I'm one of those "newbie" users that really doesn't know what is going on. And in stark contrast to the posts you may read, I do actually think that when you post on this list, you get a reply. In fact, I know you do. I have had a quite nice run setting up asterisk, when I've had problems I've looked at the Wiki or Google, and then when I can't find
