R 2.11.1 is released
I've rolled up R-2.11.1.tar.gz a short while ago. This is an update release, which fixes a number of mostly minor issues. The most annoying one was probably the problem with format.POSIXlt causing C stack overflow on long date vectors. See the full list of changes below.
You can get it from

Is it required a higher version of python.

First time setup for a Linux PDC. Have done several Micro$
Keep getting these errors smb conf in body. I did the group add scrpt
Not modfy as all the googiling I have found suggest.

Debian Buster Samba 4.12 (experimental packages) amd64/i386
Hi Louis,
For the earlier issue on deb 4.7.6 packages I have not been able to
understand what we did wrong, we recompiled with the same clean setup
and where not able to reproduce the issue... I've tried to look for
different dependencies updates and couldn't find any differences. I'm
puzzled.
Anyway I've compiled Samba 4.11.7 and Samba 4.12.0 for CentOS7 and
CentOS8
