[Announce] Samba 4.9.10 Available for Download
Quick update, I checked ldb-1.4.x to ldb-1.6.x and couldn't find an LDAP_REFERRAL_SCHEME defined anywhere. (Perhaps it's in an un-released version). So, for now a copy of the define from ldb_module (source4/dsdb/samdb/ldb_modules/ldb_module.h) will do, I guess: # cat samba-4.9.10-ldb-scheme.patch *** samba-4.9.10/source4/include/includes.h.orig 2019-07-02 14:47:43.008208717

anova help
Hi all, I am trying to run a two factor anova, but one of the factors is a random factor, now I am also running in SPSS and it seems its dividing by the wrong term to get the appropriate F term. here is my data. In SPSS the F scores about double the ones in R, how can I specify one of my factors as a random factor or change it to where it does the right model fitting? I am using the lm command

doveadm feature request: move mailbox between users
A feature request for doveadm: move (or copy) mailboxes between users Something like: doveadm movemailbox -s User1 -d User2 Old/Mail/Box Destin/Ation/Path (the same with copymailbox) Or something like that is already possible? -- Ciao, luigi / +--[Luigi Rosa]-- \ It's not enough that we do our best; sometimes we have to do what's required. --Sir Winston Churchill

Windows client using UPPERCASEto connect to Samba3.02aserve
Hi again and thanks I'm using WinNT 4.0 as my network PDC. The Samba server is only a member server. Any idea how to solve this issue? Feature request: Discussion.
I was wondering if anyone would find the syntax: ssh://someuser at host#port or even as simple as ssh://somehost#port useful? -- Austin Gonyou Systems Architect, CCNA Coremetrics, Inc. acl and winbindd woes
Hello We have got a samba PDC and BDC running openldap as a backend and it works pretty well. I set up another samba File-Server and joined the domain all right. Also set up winbindd using the idmap facility via ldap. On the File-Server when I do a "wbinfo -n joe" I get "S-1-5-21-1133090748-3639176701-2116357234-1062 User (1)" "wbinfo -s

outgoing redirect
I am trying to help a school run dansguardian transparent. I added the following to shorewalls rules, and from a tail of messages it seemed to be working, but he called saying no one had Internet. What should the rule be if this does not redirect port 80 to 8080? REDIRECT loc 8080 tcp www - !10.192.0.2 (web on dmz) ACCEPT fw net tcp www

CentOS 4 - i2o_block - Adaptec RAID
I know I saw some other posts on this in the archives, but I wanted to see if there was any new information. I have MANY Intel servers (SR1200, SR1300, etc.) that are using the Adaptec 2010S, 2100S, 2110S and 2120S SCSI RAID Controllers. They are currently running CentOS3.4 and everything works great. From what I know, these cards should be able to use the i2o_block driver which is part of the

New kex organisation and user options.
I'm in the process of updating my GSSAPI patches to the 2.9 release. However, I've run into a slight problem with managing to get user options to play nicely with the way that the kex code is now organised. With the GSS kex its possible for the user to specify whether they want to delegate their credentials to the server or not. This option is used only on the client side (and so is

OpenSSH 3.2.2 supports kerberos5 but....
I can't seem to login with only a TGS? (i.e. no password) Do I need another patch to have that part work? Password auth seems to be working against the KDC just fine.
