Two networks on one interface problem
Hi, I have a shorewall v4.0.7 installation on an older version of fedora. What is the proper way to add another network to the DMZ interface? Is it through virtual networks? If so, how is that done, given I''ve already designed the system around a single network on the DMZ? I have two physical interfaces on the firewall, with eth0 for external (192.168.1.0) and eth1 for the DMZ

Shorewall + IPSec: help debugging why gw1<->gw2 SA works, but loc<->gw2 traffic doesn't trigger SA
Dear list, I''m running Shorewall on a dedicated Fedora 7 box. Shorewall is working well as an office DSL router (dynamic IP) with loc and dmz zones. I am now trying to configure IPSec to connect a VPS, "casp", with a static IP to both the firewall and to the loc network behind it. The host to host SA works fine. However, pings from "loc" to "casp" can be

WAN setup over frame relay 7 locations
Hi - I have shorewall-1.3.8-1 on a RH 7.3 machine that acts as a firewall for my network. It was running the other day just fine, but today I have problems getting to the firewall. Hello, I am trying to set up a PVM (a the moment Ubuntu as guest and Ubuntu server as Dom0). The main issue is that the DomUs can''t get direct net access, because the access is restricted by a DHCP server that also functions as proxy to the outside of the network. The server controls the MAC address and only http is allowed as outgoing connection. So the domUs shouldn''t appear
