I already scanned the list for related information and I have an idea of how things works, but I would like to have a definite answer. System spec: - CentOS 6.6 x64 - dovecot-2.0.9-8.el6_6.4.x86_64 RPM package/version - sdbox mail store 1) About hardlinks: when sending the same message to two different

Migrating from CommunigatePro to Dovecot - anyone done this?
Apologies if this is in the archive - did look but couldn't find it. Does anyone have any experience of migrating from CommunigatePro to Dovecot? We currently run CGP 5.3.4, supporting a small system (20 or so users, one domain). We've been using it for years, and have a mixed bag of MailDir and mbox folders accessed via IMAP clients. Some users have large mail accounts (15GB total).

SMTPUTF8 support
Andr?, are you quite sure you have it working? In this thread someone from Open-Xchange stated that no, Dovecot doesn?t have SMTPUTF8 support implemented, and the same response was given by another Dovecot developer last September (it ?is being considered? was the answer then, see https://dovecot.org/pipermail/dovecot/2018-September/112887.html). I am using LMTP to deliver mail to Dovecot from

Rails 3: I18n.locale not set to I18n.default_locale in production
I have an application that uses I18n, but in the first deployment, I don''t want to enable different languages per user/request because there are very few users who all speak german). Therefore I have config.i18n.default_locale = :de in config/ application.rb. I have no code whatsoever to set/change I18n.locale in my app. In development environment, it works as expected: the

i18n: duplicate message definition
Okay, this internationalization stuff with gettext is driving me nuts. "duplicate message definition" all over. Searching Google brings up lots of info that there may not be duplicate message ids, oh wonder. Nobody on IRC knows anything about it. One guy has had the problem, there''s a transcript on rails-weenie''s website, but no answer. PLEASE, HELP! -- Raphael

i18n routes and resource names problem
Hi, I recently tried to adopt localized resource names usage, in particular using the http://github.com/kwi/i18n_routing plugin, but faced a problem with HTML escaped non ANSI characters in route names. I''ve created a ticket to track this down: https://rails.lighthouseapp.com/projects/8994-ruby-on-rails/tickets/4896 The problem was introduced with

Localizing attributes when using I18n
Currently I''m developing a multilingual app on rails 2.2. I liked very much the idea of Xavier Defrang to provide a locale-aware accessor for the fields that needs a translation: http://defrang.com/articles/2005/12/02/playing-with-rails-i18n I modified code a little to make it work with rails 2.2: def self.localize(*attribute_names) attribute_names.each do |attribute_name|
