similar to: Replication process Out of memory error

Hello All, I noticed that my CentOS 6.5 system reports that I only have about 10.9 GiB of RAM when I actually have 16384M. I have already tried adding mem=xxM to the end of the kernel line in grub.conf. The result is the same. Any suggestions? Joe

Hi, during some experiments with many guests I get crashing Dom0s because of too less memory. Actually the OOM killer goes ''round and kills random things, preferably qemu-dm''s ;-) The box in question has 128GB of memory, I start with dom0_mem=8192M (or 16384M, doesn''t matter). Hi, I have set up 2 SLES 15 Hosts with dovecot and replication. Everything seems to work fine but every time a message is delivered, I get an out of memory error in the logs. The Replication itself seems to work fine though. I increased default_vsz_limit to 512M but the only thing that changed was that dovecot was trying to allocate 1073741864 bytes instead of 268435496 As I said, I?m running

Hey guys, overall I have an working dovecot replication between 2 servers running on amazon cloud. Sadly I had some messages that my server ran out of memory. After investigating a little bit further I realized that some mails didn't got replicated, but I'm not sure if this was related to the memory exhaust. I was expecting that the full-sync would catch them up but sadly it's not.
