2.3.11.3 on 32bit platforms
HI!
I'm trying to update openSUSE package on OBS [1] which builds for
various OS versions and hardware platforms. To me it seems that a test
fails on 32bit platforms:
Info: invalid token 3: structure length disagrees with data size
test rpa ..................................... : ok
Info: invalid NTLM response: buffer length out of bounds
test ntlm ............................: ok

RHEL7/CentOS7 RPM of dovecot 2.3.11.3-3 seems to have dropped tcpwrap support
Using the Repo http://repo.dovecot.org/ce-2.3-latest after upgrading from
2.3.10.1-3 to 2.3.11.3-3 we get numerous error messages like:
dovecot: imap-login: Error: connect(tcpwrap) failed: No such file or directory
We use tcpwrap support in dovecot, which worked flawlessly in the older version.
I can see that the socket /var/run/dovecot/login/tcpwrap is not created anymore.
And comparing with

So is el8 truly incompatible with tcpwrap? Or is it just too

Upgrade to 2.3.1 has failed
Alexander good afternoon. Thank you. I have spent the day learning
about AppArmor:
? I've reviewed your link, found /etc/apparmor.d/ and its local/ directory.
? I ran aa-logprof?and it found the change in stat?to old-stat?
that is discussed in the upgrade documentation. So I Allow (A)?that.
There are no other reports.
? I followed the discussion on using yast to manage the
profiles. I'm

Upgrade to 2.3.1 has failed
Aki hello, thank you. Hopefully excerpts and top posting are acceptable
in the mailing list??
On that assumption:
Thanks for the input. I've checked out your suggestions (details below)
but unfortunately no joy.
I also restored my backup 10-ssl.conf. It indeed has the "<" sign with
a space before the explicit paths to the files:

How do I disable kerberos?
HI.
I have been told that kerberos cannot be running while samba4 is. How do
I do this? I seem to have missed this on the how-to and system requirements.
I have commented out every entry in /etc/services that seems even
remotely kerberosish. I still get errors on kinit and host (from the
how-to).
I have googled until my computers are laughing at me and have posted on
every forum I can find.

Still can't figure out ACL issues
Yah, jimc again.
I still cannot figure out what is wrong with my dc. The problem began
with being unable to log on from Windows boxes after a power hit.
The initial symptoms were:
1) When I log in on a Windows machine, with an account that should have
administrator permissions, I don't have said admin rights.
2) When I attempt to launch the Windows remote server tools, I can
select the

Still can't figure out ACL issues
Thank you for your reply.
If you happen to read the post of 11/22, you will notice that it was not
me who spoke ill of Samba.
I put my bets on other people being able to figure it out; I hope that
one of them will help me.
Sincerely
jimc

Moving server to new box
Hi!
I wish to move my Samba 4 server to a new box. Since the old one is pata
and the new one is sata, I cannot simply swap disks.
What is the best way to transfer my server without loosing configuration
files?
Thanks

RPC server unavailable?
I have a Samba 4.1.6 up and running(?)
When I try to join the AD, I get 'RPC server is unabailable.'
This also happens when I try the Microsoft Remote Administration tools,
I get the same issue.
The samba, smbd, and auth logs don't seem to provide the answer I need,
but that may only mean I can't see it.
The workgroup server works fine.
I have spent hours online and in the samba

Authentication Problem with dovecot-2.3.0.1
I am a little confused here.
I have been running 2.2.34 which I installed in /opt/dovecot2.2
I installed 2.3.0.1 to /opt/dovecot23
I then used config files from /opt/dovecot2.2/etc/dovecot to
/opt/dovecot2.3/etc/dovecot and all I did was sed -i.BAK
's/dovecot2.2/dovecot2.3/g'. Dovecot started and was running file.
Next, I manually crafted config files for 2.3.0.1 based on the example
