similar to: LDAP Server configs

Hi,guys: I am trying to setup OpenLDAP on CentOS 5.3 i386 for a client of mine. everytime I try running 'service ldap start', I get the following in syslog: root at xx ~: tailf /var/log/messages .....slaptest: sql_select option missing ....slaptest: auxpropfunc error no mechanism available ....slapd[4392]: sql_select option missing ....slapd[4392]: auxpropfunc error no mechanism

Postfix appears to be running normally and is accepting/receiving mail as usual, but... I'm not using sasl support (yet). Any clues to this

Suddenly, the server stops responding in all services (SSH, Apache, Postfix, ...) but ping works! After wait a few minutes (or 2 hours some times) the server continues unresponsive until we reboot. After reboot we search on /var/log/messages but cannot find useful information...

I was playing with SASL authentication a bit today and I wasn't able to get libvirt to authenticate against PAM (or anything else except the sasldb, although I didn't try Kerberos). Hi all, Has anyone encountered this: On ServerA, I make this directory: /var/ftp/pub/userA with ownership root.root It gets rsynced to serverB with this command: rsync -avzgorp --delete -e ssh /var/ftp/pub/ root at serverB:/var/ftp/pub/ However, when I change the ownership of /var/ftp/pub/userA to userA.userA, this change is not rsync-ed to serverB.
