Thank you, ssl_cert = </etc/letsencrypt/live/...../fullchain.pem ssl_key =

Warning: Global setting won't change the setting inside an earlier filter
Hi, I'm using the Dovecot Prebuilt Binary: deb http://xi.rename-it.nl/debian/ stable-auto/dovecot-2.2 main I configured multiple SSL certificates with client TLS SNI (see http://wiki2.dovecot.org/SSL/DovecotConfiguration). Since my last update I get some warnings: doveconf: Warning: /etc/dovecot/conf.d/10-ssl.conf line 12: Global setting ssl_cert won't change the setting inside an

Different IPs should use different ssl-certs/keys
I don't understand how to use multiple keys/certs on different IPs without SNI. http://wiki2.dovecot.org/SSL/DovecotConfiguration explains how to use different keys for different protocols like POP3 and IMAP. But how to bind those keys/ on IPs/Ports? Looks like it is not possible to use ssl_cert inside service { inet_listener {} } Is it still necessary to run multiple instances like

Different SSL certificates per IP and protocol
Hi Dovecot Users and Developers, I am hosting the server with multiple domains. I have setup the dovecot with the instructions from http://wiki2.dovecot.org/SSL/DovecotConfiguration Each domain has it's own ip address. However, when I connect via Thunderbird or any other mail clients, the client is ONLY picking up the top-level "default" ssl_key and ssl_cert and the

Upgrade to 2.3.1 has failed
Problem: We had Dovecot v2.2 working just fine under openSUSE Leap 42.3. But we upgraded openSUSE to Leap 15.0. In the process, Dovecot got upgraded from 2.2 to 2.3.1. It no longer works and I haven't figured out how to downgrade to the older working version. The key issue seems to be the change to requiring dh.pem and changing s sl_protocols to ssl_min_protocols.?I think I've navigated

Multiple SSL-Certificates/Domains setup not working
I've tried setting up multiple SSL-Certificates (using letsencrypt) for dovecot on my ubuntu machine. Used dovecot version is 2.2.18. Regarding to official docs this should be working. My test-client (Thunderbird on linux) has been mentioned to be working fine with SNI here: https://wiki.dovecot.org/SSL/SNIClientSupport https://wiki.dovecot.org/SSL/DovecotConfiguration#line-89 >

Changing SSL certificates - switching from self-signed to RapidSSL
Hi all, Ok, been wanting to do this for a while, and I after the Heartbleed fiasco, the boss finally agreed to let me buy some real certs... Until now, we've been using self-signed certs with the following dovecot config: ssl = required ssl_cert = </etc/ssl/ourCerts/imap.pem ssl_key = </etc/ssl/ourCerts/imap_key.pem Now, I've created new keys/certs and the CSR, got the new

Dovecot replies with default SSL certificate instead of the vhost's
Hello, I'm using dovecot v2.0.21. According to http://wiki2.dovecot.org/SSL/DovecotConfiguration,dovecot 2.x supports different SSL certificate for different virtual hosts by using "local_name" directive, but I can't get it to work. When testing the certificate using "openssl s_client -connect domain.com:pop3s" I get the default certificate instead of

ssl_key_password loaded from file: 'Couldn't parse private ssl_key'
Hello, Thanks for your answer. I read this Wiki tip, but it does not fit, as I serve emails for several domains, each using its iwn (potentioally enciphered) private key. I thus need to use the directive as port of a local_name block. I tried to create 2 blocks in 2 different files automatically loaded from conf.d: ### private.conf ### <-- prevented read permission for other than root:root

Question about verbose_proctitle
Hello, I have a question relating to the detail that the verbose_proctitle parameter enables for ps. I have TLS configured for IMAP as follows: /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf ssl = required ssl_cert = </path/to/cert.pem> ssl_key = </path/to/key.pem> protocols = imap lmtp service imap-login { # Disable insecure IMAP over TCP 143
