Mailcrypt plugin private password
Do I have to replace the "password" part with the actual password or can I just copy it like that? Will dovecot create the keypair automatically or do I have to use doveadm? 4. Mailcrypt plugin private password
Hello there, is there a way to make the mailcrypt plugin use the user's password or at least store it in a hashed value? I'm using a passwd file for authentication. I feel uncomfortable saving the private password in plaintext in that file. Regards -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Mailcrypt plugin private password
Is any of the password schemes supported or is there a reason you chose pkcs5? 4. The keypair is created on first use, so password will be initialized to empty string going thru pkcs5. This is slightly inconvenient. > > > To avoid

[fdo] PSA: Google dropping a lot of list email
Hi all, There's a good chance that the people who most need to see this won't see it, but here goes anyway. Google is currently dropping a _lot_ of the mail we attempt to deliver to lists.fd.o subscribers. The immediate cause is sending on mail from domains with SPF/DKIM/DMARC policies which explicitly specify that lists.fd.o cannot relay mail on their behalf. Every time we do that, not

DKIM fail if WHM adds Message-ID, should be Message-Id
I created a client library to send emails for a webapp. After connecting to the SMTP server with credential setup in CPANEL, and then do NOT add Message-Id header, the DKIM signature 'h' record created by dovecot/WHM is wrong, and a Message-ID (with a capital D) header is added, invalidating the generated DKIM signature value. This causes outlook, yahoo, gmail and other email

DKIM Verification failures
Hi, -- This message refers to the maillist itself rather than to dovecot software -- I have noticed that when I post to this list (only), I get DKIM Verification failure reports from: root at moncton.sidefx.com (e.g. for my last post: "DKIM failure report for job 4D27B5DC4E on mail.sidefx.com") root at mail.rmacd.com (e.g. for my last post: "DKIM failure report for job

DKIM
Okay, Yahoo is bumming me. Only system my mail is having an issue with. All mail is accepted, but junked. I can only think it is the DKIM/Domain keys. It is apparent that the dkim-milter is not part of the centos 5.x distro nor is it part of the mirrors, as far as I can tell. So...have any of you done it with your servers for sendmail? There are some sites that claim to have rpms and I have

hosting emails at home
Hello Mike, Yes, I am using a static IP address, but in theory, you could use a dynamic one. Nothing technically would prevent email exchanges between two boxes, as long as the SPF records are up to date and the DKIM is properly setup. Unfortunately, some ISPs are simply blacklisting full range of private IP addresses just because they are not officials / commercials. Kind regards, Andr? On

Messages on this list are often marked as spam.
Hello, It seems that I get several emails a week from this list in my spam folder. Usually because the DKIM signature fails. Has anyone else noticed this problem or is it just me? -- Steven mainor steve at degga.net

OT: good free email service ?

DKIM Pass - Fail
Hi Dear Community Friends, it is few days now, i am trying to figure out why DKIM is working / not working. Any assistance would be very much appreciable. Server IP is not blacklisted ever, MX, PTR SPF, DKIM records are available in DNS. why it is working at Gmail, why failing at Yahoo? Gmail dkim=pass header.i=@digital-infotech.net Yahoo: domainkeys=neutral (no sig);

hosting emails at home
I have dovecot postfix setup on my home server as well. I use a virtual server in the cloud as my mx record and mail relay and have my home record on dynamic dns. It's really effective.
