Is it possible to use the R program for a CFA with dichotomous data?
Thank you,

Any way to run tinc on MikroTik routers?
*hvjunk said:*

Unfortunately, I don't think this is an option (even if I may put
there a full PC, not only a Raspberry Pi), for a few reasons:
- what I'm trying to achieve is to substitute MikroTik's native
L2TP/IPSec tunnels with tinc, not to have TWO tunnels
- supposing I have two different tunnels

Any way to run tinc on MikroTik routers?
Hello,
Please excuse my (probably newbie) question, but:
Since RouterOS, MikroTik's proprietary OS, is largely based on GNU/Linux,
anyone knows a way to run tinc on a MikroTik device?
This would be in order to make an (imposed, no choice given...) MikroTik
device (say the B1100AHX4 router) to participate in a tinc mesh, in
interoperation with GNU/Linux machines.

tinc running openwrt (mikrotik metarouter mips)
Hi Yazeed,
it depends on your arch. This is really OpenWRT specific. Try to search
OpenWRT Wiki. E.g. you can use

Recoding variables based on reference values in data frame
I'm new to R (previously used SAS primarily) and I have a genetics data
frame consisting of genotypes for each of 300+ subjects (ID1, ID2, ID3,
...) at 3000+ genetic locations (SNP1, SNP2, SNP3...). A small subset of
the data is shown below:
SNP_ID SNP1 SNP2 SNP3 SNP4 Maj_Allele C G C A Min_Allele T A T G ID1

Creating new variable with maximum visit date by group_id
Dear R users,
I am encoutering the following problem: I have a dataset with a 'unique_id' and different 'visit_date' (formatted as.Date, "%d/%m/%Y") per unique_id. I would like to create a new variable with the most recent date of visit per unique_id as shown below.
unique_id visit_date last_visit_date

tinc running openwrt (mikrotik metarouter mips)
Yazeed, your tun.ko for 3.3.8. Which kernel do you use?
Show your "uname -a".
If it 3.3.8 too, try "modprobe -v tun".
What you get?

But didn't one of your earlier mails say that tun did not appear in your
lsmod output?
If the module is there but not loaded, why don't you just "insmod" it?
I am confused.
Sorry, I can't help further. I have told

output data by date?
Dear Helpers,
I have a dataset X, with no missing values, everything is in order, R reads
it correctly, and I have already done some statistical analyses on the
dataset. The data are in order by date (six sampling dates in one year,
earliest to latest) and I now want to generate boxplots for each parameter
for each date.
However, R outputs the boxplots in some order that I do not understand (eg.

Forget about tinc. I won't work until you solve issue with your kernel.

Bug in contact header from Asterisk 1.6.0.3-rc1 ?
Hi all,
I'm not sure wether it is a bug or not, so I'm asking for your opinion
before submitting it to the bugtracker.
The problem:
I use asterisk with in sip.conf a non standard bind port of 5070 set.
Now when asterisk sends out an Invite message to my sip proxy, the
contact header in de request is something like:
Contact: <sip:12329123 at 123.123.123.123>
The call succeeds and

Does anybody out there use Litespeed?
I''ve heard good things about Litespeed but all the documentation I''ve
found doesn''t reflect the new 3.3 version. The older 2 and 1 versions
are just so different. I''ve gone down the road with the old docs and
it''s always a dead end.
I''d be happy to pay or trade code or some kind of programming favors
for some help in this area.

Strategy for importing temporary .csv file?
For some reason, I''ve posted this question to this forum 4 times now
and it never appears in the daily consolidated email I get daily?
I''ve written a routine allowing the client user to declare where
their .csv import file resides and then send it to the server to
import the many rows into an existing model table, and then throw it
away.
I''ve imported many graphic files

upsd flapping in the breeze
Hi,
I have had a long standing problem with NUT talking to 110V MGE UPSs on
FreeBSD, I was recently investigating again and noticed that upsd seems
overly noisy, eg..

May 5 03:50:36 egbert upsd[96662]: Data for UPS [ups1] is stale - check driver
