Greetings, I'm sorry for asking what may be a really obvious question, but I'm having a hard time turning off logging, or at least getting less verbose logging. My dsync logs are about 7 MB daily, and I'm trying to get that switched off. At one point I had it on a lower level of verbosity, and I turned it up for debugging purposes, but now I cannot seem to turn it back down,

I'm working on migrating IMAP users from Mirapoint Message Servers to Dovecot servers. The Mirapoint IMAP server uses INBOX as a namespace for private mailboxes. I created the same namespace in Dovecot, but when I migrate mailboxes dsync seems to ignore/miss the namespace on Mirapoint and I end up with all mailboxes under a INBOX.INBOX hierarchy. Greetings, Working with dsync and setting up backups to a Windows file server. Problem seems to be that Windows is renaming the dovecot mail files (maildir) to Windows friendly filenames, and losing the Dovecot name. For example, 1323817925.M36368P32049.triata.globalchangemultimedia.net,S=2255,W=2318:2,S becomes 1AETPH~X. Does anyone have any ideas about how to tell Windows to not do this?

Greetings, For whatever reason, the BIND server running on our Samba AD instance changes permissions on /var/lib/samba/private/ldapi and /var/lib/samba/private to root:root, and causes all kinds of trouble. Hello, on my debian wheezy installation, I implemented fts plugin with solr as indexing system. I noticed that if a user creates a new folder, that folder it is ignored by dovecot indexing until a doveadm fts rescan is performed for that user.
