R for loop nested?
Hi,
I'm trying to execute the same R code on multiple data frames listed in a single directory. The code works fine if I use the code
(below) for each file. However, I have several files and it becomes
tedious to run each one, name it and then aggregate into a single
dataframe.
Name

When does ferret / AAF decide to reindex?
I am experience situations where accessing the index results in a
complete re-indexing of the model. I have not been able to detect a
pattern.
Under what circumstances does Ferret (or AAF) decide that it needs to
rebuild the index? I''ll be happy to look at the code relevant to this
if someone could direct me to it.
Thanks,
John

samba 3 schema update and reindex ldap databases
We are considering to update our Samba 3.0.5 PDC to 3.0.21 using
samba-3.0.21b-1.i386.rpm, and rpm -Uvh --test works. Whe have openldap
2.3.11 as passwd backend with samba.schema taken from samba-3.0.14 but
reading the docs (Samba-3 to Samba-3 Updates on the Same Server) it
states: "it is necessary only to update the LDAP schema".

Howto reindex with solr?
Hi,
I am currently testing a 2.1 dovecot setup with fts-solr. Search speed is
simply amazing. I decided to try to delete and rebuild the solr indexes,
but i can't seem to rebuild them thru dovecot.
At first, when telnetting to the imap server, the search initially built
the index, and then subsequent searches are blazingly fast.
1- I deleted all the solr indexes with the following query:

zlib maildir reindex broken
I posted to the list about this a while ago but never got a response, I have a bit more information now.
Dovecot 2.2.12 and other 2.2 versions are broken when using zlib and maildir. If messages are re-indexed, the INTERNALDATE of all messages is set to the time the re-index is done.
The problem seems to be in src/plugins/zlib/zlib-plugin.c in the function zlib_mail_cache_open.

rescann / reindex / rebuild a subfolder structure
Hi,
an user is missing all mail from a folder and all subfolders which are
still saved in the users maildir directory on the dovecot server.
From an imap client she sees the main folder but empty. No subfolders.
She told me with an other imap client and a new created account she has
the same problem.
Question: Can I resync / regenerate some folder... index....

fts-solr: fresh start or reindex large mailboxes
Hi,
Install solr (in the end 7.1.0) there were errors:
Caused by: org.eclipse.jetty.io.EofException: Early EOF
and from dovecot:
Error: Mailbox INBOX: Transaction commit failed: FTS transaction
commit failed: backend
I could not find for a long time what the problem was and set the
nginx as a proxy, and see that dovecot breaks the connect after 60
seconds.
After examining the code, I found the

Problem with samba-tool --reindex
Hi,
I have 2 DC's. One is running 4.10.18 and the other is running 4.11.14.
I am planning on upgrading the 4.10.18 DC to 4.11.14 and then both up to
4.12r.latest.
In doing this I ran samba-tool dbcheck --reindex and got the following warning:

Samba4 AD returning incomplete results, can't edit much, and unable to reindex sam.ldb
Not sure if this is best sent to samba or samba-technical. If an admin thinks this is best sent to technical, let me know and I'll resend it there.
Hi all,
Well I've managed to land myself in a bit of a heap.
I've been successfully running Samba4 at two schools I administer as well as my home test network, starting with alpha17 and now on beta8. Group Policy works a charm.

Hi all,
I have just tried with a fresh install and samba 4.5.7 on the domain

The domain join succeeded, and krb5.keytab IS created.
So what is going on here?

Zlib maildir reindex bug?
Hi
Running dovecot 2.1.7 (from debian repo).
We have some old compressed maildir messages with the wrong S= size in the filename (our fault).
If I delete index files, log in to the mailbox and try to FETCH the bad message, dovecot complains about the incorrect message size, attempts to fix the filename and disconnects the client. However, it changes the filesize to the size of the message on

dovecot with maildir not using mtime on reindex
Hi.
It seems that dovecot is using the current time, not a maildir file's mtime for INTERNALDATE when a message is re-indexed:

$ cd ../Maildir/cur

Dead domains don''t disappear from xm list
Hi,
When a domain shuts down it seems to stay visible in the output of xm list
(see below) even if I do an ''xm destroy''. Has something changed (they used
to disappear just fine for me)? I am running Xen 2.0 (fairly up-to-date).
