ECDSA client question
Hi, for those who have adopted ECDSA,
Are there still any commonly used IMAPS/POP3S clients that still can not
handle ECDSA certificates?
I know you can set up Dovecot dor dual cert, I am just trying to
determine if there still is a real world need to.

How to configure Dovecot to disable NIST's curves and still rertain EECDH?
My opinion is that security by RFC is not security, it's mommy medicine.
Standards have had a terrible time keeping up with security realities.
NITS's curves leak side channel information all over the place. I don't
have details on what implementations are set to calculate the NIST
curves in constant time, and that's not an easy feat to do anyway so I
don't want to depend

Unusual System State
I have seen *some* similar activity in different machines through the years and it *always* turns out to be a hardware issue. If this machine is particularly old, I would be suspicious of that.

WARNING: Break-in attempts
Greetings all,
I''m forwarding a copy of an email I sent reporting attempted
break-ins on my main server, earth.terran.org. I am forwarding this
because I think it is relevant that folks watch for this kind of activity
in their logs to catch people who "try doorknobs" in the middle of the
night. After sending this email, I sent a talk request to the user, who
was still logged

Way OT Re: OT- Re: ext3 filesystems larger than 8TB
Ahm, it wasn't money that influenced the OJ case, it was, race, coupled with
incompetence on the side of the prosecution.
Now if Reiser had kept his mouth shut he might have just been acquitted. He
had a good attorney, that attorney gave him sound advise and he chose
to ignore it anyways.
I also believe if he had confessed to what happened he would have received
manslaughter, though after

ECDSA, SSHFP, and "Error calculating host key fingerprint."
When connecting to a host that provides an ECDSA host key and the
client has "VerifyHostKeyDNS" set to 'yes' or 'ask' SSH outputs a
mysterious and undocumented message "Error calculating host key
fingerprint." This error actually seems to be generated by
verify_host_key_dns(const char *hostname, struct sockaddr *address,
Key *hostkey, int *flags) in dns.c, but
