Problem getting quota-warning script to function.
Hello,
Most of the work was done with dovecot 2.2.27 but I just upgraded to
2.3.2 and didn't see any change.? Some debug logs are below, is there
something specific I could search them for?

modules from directory: /usr/lib/dovecot/modules/auth

Problem getting quota-warning script to function.
Hello,
I haven't received a reply since I sent my last logs in, so I thought
I'd ask again and update the thread.? I had trouble getting the server
to work properly on dovecot 2.3.2 so I rebuilt the server back on
2.2.27.? I've got the quota enforcement itself working, but the warnings
still fail to fire. ? I've attached logs with mail_debug=yes for the
period from the send which

distance coefficient for amatrix with ngative valus
Hi,
I need to run a PCoA (PCO) for a data set wich has both positive and negative values for variables. I could not find any distancecoefficient other than euclidean distace running for the data set. Are there any other coefficient works with negtive values. Also I cannot get summary out put (the eigen values) for PCO as for PCA.
Thanks.

How do you distinguish between characters on a pco plot?
I have a presence/absence matrix for which I create a distance matrix and
then perform pco analysis on.
/library(ecodist)
table <- read.table("matrix.pa")
dist <- dist(table, method = "euclidean", diag = FALSE, upper = FALSE)
dist.pco <- pco(dist)/
When I plot the pco analysis of the distance matrix I want to be able to
distinguish between certain characters, for

Compare two distance matrices
Hi all,
I am trying to compare two distance matrices with R. I would like to
create a XY plot of these matrices and do some linear regression on
it. But, I am a bit new to R, so i have a few questions (I searched in
the documentation with no success).
The first problem is loading a distance matrix into R. This matrix is
the output of a the Phylip program Protdist and lookes like this:

calculating distances using Gower's coefficient on mixed variables.
I want to compute the distances in a mixed variable matrix using the
Gower coefficient. I understand it is possible to calculate distances in
a matrix with mixed variables using the dudi.pco command. How would this
work?

What are the necessary Oracle software to install and run ROracle ?
Hello,
I am running Linux, I have downloaded
instantclient-basiclite-linux32-11.2.0.2.0.zip
instantclient-sqlplus-linux32-11.2.0.2.0.zip
instantclient-sdk-linux32-11.2.0.2.0.zip
instantclient-precomp-linux32-11.2.0.2.0.zip
All these tarballs are unzipped in /usr/local/lib/instantclient, I have
added this path in the library path of the host.
I can run sqlplus and proc, they do not complain

Polycom provision errors still! Arg!
I have been struggling over central provisioning for quite some time. I have
eagerly watched each post with like problems but have yet to find a reliable
answer.
I have a Polycom 501 and I am trying to provision from an FTP server, and
just to take any routing out of the issue it is on the same subnet. I am
running the 2.0.1.0291 firmware and 3.2.2 bootrom. I set the IP info on the
phone and

hiera command line performance
Hi everyone,
The hiera command line program (version 0.3.0) is currently taking around 2
seconds per invocation. This seems quite slow to me, but is probably not
an issue for most users.
We have a number of legacy machines that for one reason or another have not
been puppetised yet, and probably won''t be anytime soon, so I have a
somewhat clever script that, for each of these

exploring dist()
Hello, everybody,
I hope somebody could help me with a dist() function.
I have a data frame of size 2*4087 (col*row), where col corresponds to the
treatment and rows are
species, values are Hellinger distances, I should reconstruct a distance
matrix
with a dist() function. I know that "euclidean" method should be used.
When I type:
dist(dframe,"euclidean")
it gives me a

Problem with Samba on Solaris 2.6
Hi All
I downloaded the binary package of Samba 2.2.2 on Friday from one of the
Samba mirror sites, I think Belgium, and installed it on a Sun E450
running Solaris 2.6.
Today everything has fallen flat on its face. Unfortunately I am on
holiday this week so not able to deal with the problem directly, but via
telephone calls. Apparently what is happening is that smbd is gobbling
up all the

help interpreting dudi.pco
I am working on morphometry of hairs and want to see if selected variables
are giving significantly distinct groups.
I am new to both R and principal coordinate analysis. Scatter plot is
showing distinct groups but i dont know how to refine the analysis and
interprete it.

Any interest in "merge" and "by" implementations specifically for sorted data?
Hi Developers,
I am looking for another new project to help me get more up to speed
on R and to learn something outside of R internals. One recent R
issue I have run into is finding a fast implementations of the
equivalent to the following SAS code:
/* MDPC is an integer sort key made from two integer columns */
MDPC = (MD * 100000) + PCO;
/* sort the dataset by the key */
PROC SORT;

Significance of Principal Coordinates
Dear all,
I was looking for methods in R that allow assessing the number of
significant principal coordinates. Unfortunatly I was not very
successful. I expanded my search to the web and Current Contents,
however, the information I found is very limited.
Therefore, I tried to write code for doing a randomization. I would
highly appriciate if somebody could comment on the following approach.

New package: BiplotGUI
Dear R users,
I am pleased to announce the release of the new BiplotGUI package on
CRAN.
Biplots are graphs in which the samples and all the variables of a data
matrix are represented simultaneously. They can be very useful for
exploring multivariate data.
The BiplotGUI package allows users to construct and interact with
biplots as they are described in "Biplots" (Gower and Hand,

New package : ade4
Hello,
The ade4 package is now available on CRAN.
ade4 is a multivariate data analysis package oriented towards statistical
ecology. The main functions include one-table (PCA, COA, MCA, PCO, etc.),
two-tables (PCAIV, Co-inertia, CCA, etc.) and k-tables multivariate analysis
methods, with several Monte-Carlo tests and many graphical display methods.
A complete documentation with many example data

New package 'ade4TkGUI', a Tcl/Tk GUI for ade4
Dear R-Users,
ade4TkGUI is a new package available on CRAN. It implements a Tcl/Tk
graphical user interface (GUI) for the ade4 package.
Only the most basic functions of ade4 have a GUI in this first
version : classical one-table data analysis methods (PCA, COA,
MCA, PCO, etc.), one table with groups of rows (BGA, WGA, DA),
and two-tables analysis methods (Coinertia analysis, CCA, PCAIV).
