lda fails in parse_angle_addr if sieve is enabled
Hi all, Reverted back to 2.2.34 and pigeonhole 0.4.22 and (after reverting config changes) it's working again including Sieve. I was notified of commit https://github.com/stephanbosch/dovecot-core/commit/6553f20bb31b5f0eebb73a0db526f00816b47d71 which I'll try. It's in a different option -f (not -d) but will try. Cheers, Bernard. 2018-04-08 20:10 GMT+02:00 Bernard Spil <brnrd at

lda fails in parse_angle_addr if sieve is enabled
Hi Stephan, Shared the message to you in person only via separate mail. With to Return-Path, I've not seen any difference in failures, all messages were consistently failing with the same error. Thank you! Bernard. 2018-04-10 2:54 GMT+02:00 Stephan Bosch <stephan at rename-it.nl>: > Op 4/8/2018 om 8:10 PM schreef Bernard Spil: >> Hi, >> >> Since updating to 2.3.1

lda fails in parse_angle_addr if sieve is enabled
Hi, This code path is only executed when there is a return-path header. Given the fact that this fails consistently, can you provide an example of a message successfully delivered using an older version of Dovecot; i.e., as it is stored in the mailbox? There should be a return-path header there. Alternatively, you could temporarily wrap dovecot-lda in a shell script that copies the message

Problems with network in jail
Hi all, Is it mandatory to add device mem to jails to enable network via the gateway? Left ezjail with FreeBSD-6.3 (and a hardware replacement of my server) and am now starting again with FreeBSD-7.1. Early this week, I upgraded from 7.0 to 7.1 (not having 'used' jails on 7.0). After creating the jail with `ezjail-admin update -i` I created a 'ports build' jail `ezjail-admin

imapsieve wrong matches on APPEND cause
Hello, I'm experiencing some strange problem with imapsieve mailbox rules matching. I have Ubuntu Server 18.04.1 LTS with Postfix 3.3.0, Dovecot 2.2.33.2 and Rspamd 1.7.9. The problem occurs with Microsoft Outlook 2016 mail client. When moving with Outlook, APPEND event is logged instead of MOVE. However, when moving with another client, MOVE event is logged. So without APPEND event in

Hello, I am trying to get rspam to learn what is spam and what is ham. After following the IMAPSieve guide in the dovecot wiki (https://wiki2.dovecot.org/HowTo/AntispamWithSieve), the mail.log shows the following, whenever I move a mail from the Spam folder to my inbox and vice versa: sieve: Opening script 1 of 1 from `/usr/lib/dovecot/sieve/report-ham.sieve' sieve: Loading script

multiple modules defining same method included into a class
In Ruby, classes are never closed: you can always add methods to an existing class. This applies to the classes you write as well as the standard, built-in classes. All you have to do is open up a class definition for an existing class, and the new contents you specify will be added to whatever''s there. In the same regard, if module is used with the name of a pre-existing module that

antispam plugin pipe backend error when moving multiple emails
Hi, I've got some trouble with the dovecot antispam plugin and the pipe backend. I'm using dovecot 2.2.18 with maildirs and zlib compression enabled. When moving 2 or more emails at once from the Junk folder to another one, I always have the following error : "Failed to copy to temporary file" In the server logs : imap(vvv at vvv.vvv): Error:

mdbox_deleted proper syntax
hello, on the wiki, https://wiki2.dovecot.org/MailboxFormat/dbox, it says that one can use either doveadm fetch or doveadm import, however I can find no correct syntax with fetch that'll actually work. Is the idea to simply override the mail_location with -o ? That seems to work for doveadm mailbox but not for doveadm fetch or search # doveadm -f table mailbox status -u johan all dovecot
