xz compression
Hello Timo,
I've successfully setup xz compression for my Dovecot installation using
the version 2.2.12 from Debian unstable.
Together with the activation of the "Single Instance Attachment
Storage", this reduced the mail storage utilization for 20 mail accounts
by 74%.
*My question:*
(For this test just one user was logged in. OS = Debian Wheezy, AMD64)

RFC 4468
You know, I was thinking: wouldn't it be nice to have RFC 4468 (Message
Submission BURL Extension) support in dovecot? Maybe we should ask the
guys from Apple to contribute some support for it, I have a gut feeling
they would gladly do so ;)
Kind regards

Watch the output of 'pri debug span 1' on the Asterisk server while placing the call - bug #4468 (http://bugs.digium.com/view.php?id=4468) might be relevant.

Yes, this is exactly what is happening. Thanks a lot. I am thinking about adding a special case for the IBM 800 number since it is the only one my company is complaining about. Currently I have this in my dialplan:

Blazer_usb Permissions problem: Input/output error
Hi all,
I have an eaton ENV800HA connected for a freebsd 9.0 box with nut 2.6.5 installed (on the supported list).
The UPS is connected using the Blazer_USB driver (not sure how to check its version).
When I kick off upsd it detects the UPS no problems and I get all my information:

battery.voltage: 13.60

What ever happened to the LTAPI, the Linux Telephony API?
Hi,
I've just been going through the various modules that are autoloaded to
see what I need and what I don't and came across chan_phone.so which
loads /etc/asterisk/phone.conf. I did a lookup on voip-info and google
and came across this article in Linux Journal from 2001.
Anyone know why it isn't being used much (from what I can tell) and
what's happening with it today?

.Call - applying setAttrib(x, R_DimSymbol, s) to a matrix being an element of a list
Dear R developers,
I am writing some C code that loads multiple images into a list of R
matrices. The whole R object is created within the C code. To simplify
coding, elements of the list are first created as vectors and then
converted to corresponding matrices using setAttrib(x, R_DimSymbol, s).
Generally the code works fine except for one detail. Applying setAttrib
sets ALL elements

returning NULL from .Call call
Dear R developers,
I've just encountered one "feature" of R-C extensions. If it is known, I
would be thankful for any hints why it works this way (I found the way
around, which is also mentioned here, but maybe it is not the best one).
If it is however unknown, it might be considered for a "wish list".
Consider a simple "aka" C function (the original

passing command line arguments to 'R CMD BATCH myScript.R'
Hi Community,
I have a question about how to pass command line parameters to R script
running in the batch mode. The problem is: there is a banch of data
files which are to be processed by R script called from a web-server,
i.e. in the batch mode. The web server generates data files and passes
their names calling 'R CMD BATCH' one by one for every file. Now the
question is how to

Hi,
it probably is a noob question but I''m confused by this error message:

Situation:
I have an InvoicesController with a create method that in turn calls
upon a MiddleMan.worker(:billing_worker), which in turn finds an Invoice
and calls upon @invoice.print_invoice

Red Alarm on X100P
I'm having sporadic problems with my X100P card. When trying trying to
call out I get a message on the console that the channel is busy even though I
have bounced asterisk. It seems the card grabs the line and doesn't let go.
When I try to call the number I get a busy signal. If I perform a rmmod wcfxo
and restart asterisk everything retruns to normal. I have a TDP400P installed
