Limit the nuumber of mails POPped at a time
Hi All
I'm completely new to the world of Dovecot, so please bear with me if this is a simple noob question (which I fer it is :-) )
I have a postfix/dovecot setup for handling specific mails for clients.
I have a piece of software with a mailclient that has problems when it POP's large amounts of mail. Unfortunately the system can't be updated or fixed. So I'm trying to figure out

I ran configure like this:-

then I ran make like this:-

Compiling smbtorture
Is smbtorture a simple SMB client that is completely separate from Samba
server? (I.e., can I use it to test, e.g., a regular Windows SMB
server?) Or is it something that only tests Samba server?
Anyway, I haven't had any luck compiling it. Any hints? Here is a
transcript (this is on SUSE Linux Enterprise 9):

I'm on ubuntu 10.10 amd64 server completely uptodate today.
I followed the http://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba4/HOWTO
My git is also today.

Mails "get lost" - RHEL 5.1 - dovecot-1.0-1.2.rc15.el5
Hi,
we do have a Voiceboxserver which forward recorded avi messages to the
mailserver account of users. I'v tested it for my account 10 minutes ago
and everything works.
Some users don't get the messages shown up in there mailclient while the
logs show a delivery of that mail.
May be some mail caches are messed up?
We use Thunderbird 2 and the users concerned use imap.
Where may I

Fortunately, it just involves reformatting the data and a little
reconmfiguration of dovcot. If you can find the tool and disk space,
it's well worth doing. Of course, when running a proverbial

wake up getamail on imap request
Hi,
i've set up a little mailserver for my homeoffice, and after some problems
everything works fine for me, I've some virtual users which get their mail
delivered via getmail, and I can access my mails from my windows mailclient.
The only issue I'm still facing is, that I don't like to run getmail as a
cronjob that connects to my online mailboxes every minute or so,

Hello,
I'm compiling samba 4.2.2 from source on a Linux From Scratch (LFS) system.
Packages I have installed on the system are mixed from various versions of

Samba compiles fine, but a few selftests fail. The ones I'm worried

RFC: Adding GCC C Torture Suite to External Test Suites

Background:
While working on the RISC-V backend, we have found it useful to use additional test suites beyond the in-tree Clang and LLVM tests and the LLVM nightly tests, in order to
