Embeding a path in address extensions
I generate bcc backups with the pattern backups+DATE.user.domain.tld at myBackupDomain.tld (for example, backups+20170908.kremels.kreme.com at myBackupDomain.tld) This puts mail in ?/.20170908.kremels.kreme.com/new What I would like to do is get the expansion to generate the following path ?/.20170908/.kremels.kreme.com/new Of course the date changes everyday, but it will always be numeric

dovecot-uidlist is not up-to-date
Tried that. It rebuilds index based on dovecot-uidlist. But not the dovecot-uidlist based on actual mail data. :( Fil On March 21, 2018 11:58:21 PM EDT, "@lbutlr" <kremels at kreme.com> wrote: >On 2018-03-21 (17:15 MDT), Dmitry Filonov ><filonovd at enders.tch.harvard.edu> wrote: >> Now the question is if there's any way to tell dovecot to rebuild

Dovecot and Letsencrypt certs
So this morning at 4am I was awoken to my mail clients getting certificate errors for an expired certificate. I hopped on to the server and checked and? no, the LE certs renewed last month and are valid until November. After some moments of confusion I noticed that dovecot had been running since before the renewal, so I did a quick service dovecot restart which fixed everything. Should dovecot

welcome plugin
Hello, Thank you. My configuration is below. It looks like a perm problem, i've set +r on the directory and it is readable. One other thing I noticed when going through the log the testuser logs in, then logs out. Then logs in again, and then gets the error. Any ideas why the two logins? I see this all the time, a log in log out, then another log in log out then the email transaction.

welcome plugin
Hello, Is anyone using the welcome plugin? I'm trying to utilize it to send a message when a user first logs in to the system, containing important information for them to know. The plugin loads, I don't have a configuration problem, but the message never gets sent. What can I provide to more easily troubleshoot this? Thanks. Dave.

Hello, Perms are 775 on that folder. If you've got a working configuration can you do a doveconf -n and let me see it? I'd like to compare yours to mine. And if you've got a working welcome script i'd like to see that as well. Thanks. Dave. Permissions on /var/log/dovecot
So is yours. Why not say what SHOULD be done? Since we were discussing logging, including only the lines about logging seem to be a reasonable response to the original open-ended question. ?Please include the complete output of ?dovecot -n?? would get your point across instead of just letting you be a snarky ass.
