[patch] enable ECDH auto functions based on feature defines, not on version number
Hello, I recently tried to build my system with libressl instead of openssl. In dovecot one issue that popped up was that libressl doesn't have the ECDH auto functions from openssl 1.0.2 beta versions. However as the #ifdef's in dovecot's code check for the openssl version and libressl's version numbers are higher the compilation fails there. Attached is a patch that will change

What did I miss when building openssh? cannot generate ecdsa key
I am assuming this is a user error (and the bug, if any is in configure not telling me how to activate it). I regularly see a message: Could not load host key: /etc/ssh/ssh_host_ecdsa_key And, obviously, I have never made the key before. I tried the following: ./ssh-keygen -t ecdsa -fssh_host_esdsa_key -N "" unknown key type ecdsa However, the syntax says it is a known type root at

No ring tone on inbound call - but channel connects fine
Hi Everyone, I have a SIP turnk which works fine with both inbound and outbound calling. However, the only issue is that there is no Ring Tone if someone calls us. The phones used are Aastra and Polycom connected to the PBX via VPN (SIP). I do get an outbound ring tone, so it's not that there is any media loss between the phones and the PBX. But when the DID is called there is dead silence

Slow connects
I've just installed openssh 2.3.0p1 on a number of Solaris 2.6 boxes. I've noticed that connect times can take up to 3 minutes when connecting from box a to box b with the new ssh client and daemon. When I connect using a pc client like f-secure or with an old ssh client on unix the connect times are wonderfully fast. Any idea why I would get slow connect times with the new client and

analog phone connects to zaptel fxoks is beeping
Hi, I have a analog phone connect to a WCTDM card. It used to work fine. Now recently, after several conf change and power restart, it stops working. Whenever I pickup the phone, instead of hearing the dial tone, I hear a busing beeping tone, like a machine gun is firing. :) However, from asterisk console, I do see a a OffHook/OnHook message, but whatever I dial in the phone keypad seems not

Echoes & Asterisk connects too early
Hello, I have read the articles on echo cancellation (http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk), but couldn't find a solution to my problem. We are running Asterisk 1.4.12 together with an EICON DIVA SERVER BRI-2M PCI (current driver from EICON) and some SNOM 300/360. There are few clients where we recognize echoes on both sides when we call them via ISDN. With some of these clients

How to use multiple "Connects" in pfSense's prepackaged tinc
Hello, Fortunately, the excellent pfSense gateway software offers a pre-packaged tinc directly in its official repository. This allows a pfSense machine to participate in a tinc mesh. However, experimenting with pfSense, I was unable (at least from the web interface) to figure out how to: - configure pre-packaged tinc to start with multiple partners (the equivalent of multiple Connect lines in

Problem joining 3.6.22 domain when a service connects to a share before logon
Hi everyone. We have recently come across an interesting issue after upgrading from 3.6.16 to 3.6.22. Since we can't currently upgrade to 4.x and we have Win7 machines on site, we implemented a 3rd party product called "Nitrobit Group Policy" which has been working very well since last Summer. On startup, before the login prompt it connects to a share to read in the machine
