High user number tune
Halo,
This might seem like another indirect thread.
I Monday started new job, first task must replace courier. The job use
POP3. and IMAP only for webmail, but must server support 4K POP3 at one
times. I see from similar thread current settings not adequate , we will
use TLS and if wiki read right Iprotocol
So am close in think that need ?
service pop3-login {
process_limit = 4096

memory leaking?? kernel problem?
I would think someone would have noticed this in RHEL or CentOS if it was a pure kernel problem. What all are you running in the way of daemons? Something there could be to blame, no? Also, if the servers are identical in terms of software and hardware, have you considered a memory check? When I made the switch from Windows to Linux I discovered something interesting. Since Linux caches memory (as

This mailing list is being spam filtered on my site.
Sorry if this not the right place to post this.... BUT...
Since May 31st, ALL of these user list messages have been filtered by
"spamassassin" running on my Linux box. - Claim to be listed in "Bayes" as
spam. - Have no clue why this is happening.
Luckily, "spamassassin" sent the messages to the "probably-spam" folder on
the Linux box & I was able to

As far as I know this doesn't affect any of the major distributions where Dovecot is commonly used (Debian/Ubuntu/Redhat/CentOS). I've only heard it happening with some self-compiled OpenSSL versions (Arch/Gentoo?), so I don't see this as especially critical

Spam vs. Viruses
I have purchased a license for Vexira MailArmor (an antivirus product) and
the good news is that it is installed and working at shorewall.net. The bad
news is that I have yet to get Vexira running together with SpamAssassin :-(
As things currently stand, list posts will be protected from viruses but
may contain Spam. I''ll continue to work to correct this situation.
