[PATCH] qemu-sanity-check.in: Use '-display none' instead of '-nographic'
Upstream QEMU recommends to use '-display none' as opposed to '-nographic' -- which is a "legacy option that does a whole bunch of confusing stuff" (thanks Peter Maydell). Upstream libguestfs already made the switch [1] in DEC-2013. [1] https://github.com/libguestfs/libguestfs/commit/7a41f5c1 -- "launch: switch from -nographic to -display none " ---

RFC 3501 violation in FETCH BODY responses
Hi there, Quoting RFC 3501 sec. 7.4.2 ?FETCH Response? Tukey HSD
Hey Folks: New to R and learning as I go, but really, I know just enough to get myself into trouble. I've waded through everything up till now, and don't see anything in the search that is directly helpful for the POS that I've created. The GOAL: All I want in the world is a program that performs 1-way ANOVA's on every column in a data set (taking the first column as the

Possible bug in Maildir++ quota?
While researching a possible bug in our custom-made Maildir++ expiration script, I found the following in src/plugins/quota/quota-maildir.c. | static const char * | maildir_list_next(struct maildir_list_context *ctx, time_t *mtime_r) | { | [...] | *mtime_r = st.st_size; | return str_c(ctx->path); | } As far as I unterstand, this seems incorrect, because the value in mtime_r is

Problem with a if statement inside a function
I have a really long functions, and at the end of the function, I am using a if statement to tag certain keywords based on whether they have certain values contained in them. However, the if statement doesn't seem to work. When I had split up the commands into various functions, it worked fine, but I'm not sure what going on now that it's combined into a single function. myfunc

PC-Pine "Junk in end of group"
I am running PC-Pine under Windows XP, connecting via SSL to a Dovecot IMAP server (0.99.10-2 under Debian woody). When I open a mail folder (mbox format) in Pine I get the following non-fatal error: [Junk in end of group: pn=undisclosed-recipients al= dn=] A similar error was reported to comp.mail.pine as happening with a Lotus Domino server. Mark Crispin explained it as a server-side bug:

Extracting sentences with combinations of target words/terms from cancer patient text medical records
Hello All, I need some help figuring out how to extract combinations of target words/terms from cancer patient text medical records. I've provided some sample data and code below to illustrate what I'm trying to do. At the moment, I'm trying to extract sentences that contain the word "breast" plus either "metastatic" or "stage IV". It's been some

Extracting sentences with combinations of target words/terms from cancer patient text medical records
Hi Robert, Thank you for your reply. An attempt to solve this via a regular expression query is particularly helpful. Unfortunately, I don't have much time to play around with this just now. Ultimately though, I think I would like to implement a solution something along the lines of what you have done. I have a book on regular expressions that I am now starting to read. In the meantime, the

Extracting sentences with combinations of target words/terms from cancer patient text medical records
Hi Bert, Thanks for your reply. It appears that I didn't replace the variable name "sampletxt" with the argument "x" in my function. I've corrected that and now my code seems to be working fine. Combinaciones sin repetición...con restricciones
Hola, Carlos.

Extracting sentences with combinations of target words/terms from cancer patient text medical records
Hi Paul, Sounds like you have your answer, but for fun I thought I'd try solving your problem using only a regular expression query and base R. I believe this works: > txt <- "Patient had stage IV breast cancer. Nothing matches this sentence. Metastatic and breast match this sentence. French bike champion takes stage IV victory in Tour de France." > pattern <-

Extracting sentences with combinations of target words/terms from cancer patient text medical records
Have you looked at the CRAN Natural Language Processing Task View? If not, why not? If so, why were the resources described there inadequate? PATCH - add username_format to the PAM auth module
Hi there, Other auth modules (eg passwd-file) allow a username_format to be specified, but not the PAM module. The use-case, is where I want a static userdb configuration which takes the domain into account but still want to use PAM for authentication, eg: userdb { driver = static args = uid=8 gid=12 home=/mnt/storage/mail/vhosts/%d/%n } passdb { driver = pam args = username_format=%n

PATCH: make local IP address available to auth modules
The attached patch makes the local IP address to which the client connected available to the authentication modules; i.e., the local IP address is available for substitution as %i for the mysql and pgsql modules. We needed this feature to support thousands of our legacy accounts which are authenticated by username/local_part (not the full email address) and IP address (one per domain). Timo,
