sa-learn with remote Dovecot folders
Thanks for your reply.
You got me thinking towards the antispam plugin which I have nto used
before, but can you elaborate if my users are system users and the
training is done only via a cron entry?

users of dbox format
I am interested in finding out your experiences with using the dbox
format (especially mdbox) if you use this format.
I am contemplating changing my maildir setup to mdbox but I still need
to make a case for it
against maildir which has become a de-facto standard and provides sort
of a secure basis in case of
software changes.
Your input will be appreciated.

I always used the antispam plugin, as a way to initiate training via IMAP.

Filesystem quotas
I could not determine if when using filesystem quotas
(http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Quota/FS)
Dovecot will use the reported quota and limits without the need of
configuring them
via "quota_rules". Is this possible somehow? Such a feature would
determine the quota limits
automatically from the filesystem quotas thereby allowing to make use of
them in quota warnings.
Dovecot already knows

antispam plugin, amavis and sa-learn
Hello,
I would like to use the Dovecot antispam plugin to train SpamAssassin via
sa-learn. I compiled the plugin and got it to work with the sendmail
backend, which I tested by having it send a message to me.
As I'm calling SpamAssassin with amavisd-new, I have a system-wide Bayes
db, maintained by the amavis user. As expected, the antispam plugin calls
the configured binary as the mail user

Dovecot Oy merger with Open-Xchange AG
I find it extremely interesting that no one has commented on the merger
of Dovecot Oy and Open-Xchange AG as announced by Timo on the 19th. Is
this something that was known a long time ago and I missed? OK checked
the on-line archive of the mailing list, no comments there - its not my
email set-up - LOL.

Hello Steffen, thanks for your reply.
I've tried to use an external script sa-learn-pipe.sh :

Plugin antispam - mailtrain realtime sa-learn
Hi,
On Dovecot Wiki2[1] it is written that you need a wrapper script for
sa-learn as it shouldn't support pipped input, but that is supported
since SpamAssassin 2.6 at least. As far as I can see and test, the
following config makes it work without a wrapper script. Can someone
confirm it before the wiki is updated?

antispam_backend = pipe
antispam_trash = Trash

sdbox-format and sa-learn(spamassassin)
Hello,
is it somehow possible to use sa-learn on sdbox-mailboxes?
Maybe i can use dsync to "mirror" the mailboxes(only the spam-subfolder)
to another
location and convert it to mbox or maildir and act then on it with sa-learn?
I know the antispam-Plugin, but until now no success, to get it running.
So I think about
an way, to learn via sa-learn on an file which i can process.

Dovecot antispam
Hello,
This is not specifically a dovecot issue, but to it's antispam plugin,
that being the case if private responses are deemed so please do so.
I've got a Postfix, amavisd-new, dovecot (delivery and sieve), setup
with spamassassin. It's for the most part working fine, here's the
problem, false positives and false negatives. The sieve moves
spamassassin-tagged messages in to

Reviewing end-user ham/spam submissions before feeding them to sa-learn via Dovecot Antispam plug-in
Currently, I'm using the Dovecot Antispam plug-in with great success.
Everything works as expected.
However, I would like to change the plug-in's behavior such that it
simply sends a copy of a message that is moved from Inbox -> Junk (or
Junk -> Inbox) to an administrator, instead of calling sa-learn (I'm
using SpamAssassin) automatically.
Basically, I would like to be able to
