[Announce] Samba 4.9.0rc1 Available for Download
Great news!!! I just didn't see anything in the changelog referring to "trust relationship," based on what the papper below show. https://sambaxp.org/fileadmin/user_upload/sambaXP2018-Slides/StefanMetzmacher_sambaxp2018_trusted_domain_support-rev0-compact.pdf Any news about trusts? Dovecot Director upgrade from 2.2 to 2.3
Hi, I have a setup with 3 Dovecot Director v2.2.36 and director_consistent_hashing = yes ;-) Now I would like to upgrade to 2.3.7, first only Director and after also Backend. Can works fine a ring of director with mixed 2.2 and 2.3 version? Mi idea is to setup a new Director server with 2.3, stop one server with 2.2 and insert the new 2.3 in the current ring to check if works fine. If all

slanted stacked bar graphs?
Hello R users, I would like to generate "slanted" stacked bar graphs like those on the bottom of pages 1 and 2 in this document: http://www.wssinfo.org/fileadmin/user_upload/resources/JMP-Snapshot-SWA-HLM.pdf . I've also attached the file to this email (pdf). Does anyone know if this is possible in R? I have tried googling and searching the R help archives, and it seems like ggplot2

Dovecot Director upgrade from 2.2 to 2.3
Hi Timo, here you can see two images with the load average and CPU usage with Dovecot 2.2 (Centos 6) and 2.3 (Centos 7) on the same hardware and same configuration: https://imgur.com/a/1hsItlc Load average increment is relevant but CPU usage is similar. design question for small environment
Ah, ok. Maybe you can do something with the static id mappings on the server. Map a computer to user But besides that, uhm, good luck... Stick with the login popup, and save yourself a lot of troubles. Maybe this wil give you a good hint, https://sambaxp.org/fileadmin/user_upload/sambaXP2018-Slides/StefanMetzmacher_sambaxp2018_trusted_domain_support-rev0-compact.pdf Imo, a hard one to

Quota plugin and director
Hello dovecot! I administer a dovecot installation with 30k users. I've got 4 dovecot directors as frontend and 10 backends. The mailbox are now in maildir format, with maildir++ quota, on a shared netapp filer. Indexes are local on each backend. I'm reconfiguring the quota plugin: as a first step, I want to use the clone plugin to keep a copy of the quota on a redis database. Next,

Samba 4 Slow Performance
Dear all, After using samba 3 for two years, I have just spent totally one week finishing setting up a samba 4 file system in my working school. There are about 200 computers, 80+ staff, 1000 students and 10 printers. The AD was properly setup, mandatory profile and one GPO policy (which is printer download trust) is effective for all users. Logon script is for mapping four shares and 10
