Handle of "subscription" file/folder for IMAP
Hi, Ok you're right about it, let me simplify it. There's some files in the Maildir, that are from dovecot, like the dovecot.sieve, subscriptions, and these are files, but here are shown an being folders to be subcribed. Question was if it is possible to deny the show of this info in IMAP globally. If I subscribe, for example to "subscriptions", it created the folder,

Help on dict with QUOTA / perms
Hi, Ok managed to solve this with the permissions on the socket. One related question, the quota units are only Kb,M,G ? not possible to define it in bytes? > -----Original Message----- > From: dovecot [mailto:dovecot-bounces at dovecot.org] On Behalf Of Jorge > Bastos > Sent: s?bado, 8 de Novembro de 2014 14:22 > To: 'Dovecot Mailing List' > Subject: Help on dict with

Help with IMAP IDLE
Well, I've been doing some research, and it seems that msoutlook 2016 and 2019 doesn't quite have imap idle support. The odd part, is that when i had DBMail, it was IDLE'ing (i swear), Would dbmail send something different that make it work? It was an old version of dbmail, 2.3.7 i believe, from about 2012 or so. And no, it wasn't the outlook options "send/receive", i

Quota system over NFS
I've been trying to implement the quota system for a Linux cluster. I'm trying it out on a mini-cluster of 4 CentOS 6.3 VMs. I've named them: lion-login lion-sn1 lion-cn01 lion-cn02 All nodes are on the virtual subnet 192.168.56.0/24. lion-sn1 (storage node 1) is the NFS server and the other three nodes are the NFS clients. /etc/exports on lion-sn1: /home 192.168.56.0/24(rw)

Random delivery
Howdy, I?d like to achieve something that i don?t know if it?s possible. I have account info at domain.tld and when an email is received, I want to forward it to several accounts, always in this order: ? Email1 at domain.tlf ? Email2 at domain.tld ? Email3 at domain.tld And when it reached email3 at domain.tld it starts again with email1 at domain.tld Would something like

Random delivery
Hi Joseph, It's that what I want!! Sequentially, my bad saying random! Well... with the script, I remember I did something like this 15 years ago with qmail with a php script, that every email was saved in mysql and I always selected the next email addrr in the list. Going to search for this option in postfix, thanks for the tip as this is a bit offtopic of dovecot, -----Original

Request to list owner
Hi list owner, Sorry for this. Is it possible to change the reply-to in mailman to be the list, and not the person who replied? Also the [Dovecot] on the subject would be handy. Just two things to get better. Thanks,

FS Quota broken for delivering BIG message
Hi everybody. I have Linux file system quota for users and enabled "fs quota" and quota plugin for LDA. My test user is already deep over quoted: --- Filesystem blocks quota limit nfse:/export 23768* 10240 10240 --- 1. If I tries to deliver _short_ message to user mbox - quota works: $ echo "123123123123" | /usr/local/libexec/dovecot/deliver -d koc --- Quota

Quotas once again
Its been a while since I tried dovecot on my mail server where I have quota issues. I am using mbox file format. There still seems to be a quota problem. I have only /var with quotas and basedir is under /usr (not quotaed). default_mail_env = mbox:~/mail/:INBOX=/var/mail/%u. I tried with mbox_locks = dotlock fcntl (1st set of logs below) and with mbox_locks = fcntl (2nd set of logs) dotlock:

Setup sieve failed
Hi, I try to setup sieve but I have some trouble. Using dovecot 2.2.9 on Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS. I replaced my correct domain with ?domain.tld?. I am able to create sieve scripts using SOGo. The scripts are created in my mailbox. For example in /var/www/kunden/mail/domain.tld/testuser/sieve/sogo.sieve I have the following script and in same ~/sieve folder is a subdirectory available that?s

Quota exceeded message
I just realized that "quota" word probably doesn't mean much to many non-native english speakers. Do even non-technical native speakers understand what "Quota exceeded" really means? It's sent by quota plugin, currently in two different situations: 1) To the user doing the operation via IMAP COPY/APPEND. 2) More importantly: If deliver rejects the mail, it's
