guestfs launch failed in CentOS 7.5
Hello,
I am using https://github.com/clalancette/oz/tree/v0.16.0 to customise
qcow2 images. In CentOS 7.5.1804 (yum updated to latest) the image
customisation fails during guestfs launch. Following is the output
of libguestfs-test-tool run. Please help in debugging the problem -

ZFS fails with C7 957
Folks
I have two USB connected drives, configured as a mirrored-pair in
ZFS. It's been working fine UNTIL I updated Centos
from 3.10.0-862.14.4.el7.x86_64
to 3.10.0-957.1.3.el7.x86_64
The import of the pools didn't happen at boot. When I tried executing:
zpool list
I got the diagnostic suggesting I do /sbin/modprobe zfs
And that command claimed the module didn't exist.

CONFIG_RTC_SYSTOHC not set for CentOS kernels
Hi folks,
RHEL 7 documentation says that if either ntp or chrony is running on a
system, then it will enable the kernel feature to sync system time to
the hardware clock every 11 minutes. This needs the CONFIG_RTC_SYSTOHC
option to be set.
However, it looks like this option is not set for CentOS kernels:
# fgrep CONFIG_RTC_SYSTOHC /boot/config-3.10.0-862.14.4.el7.x86_64
# CONFIG_RTC_SYSTOHC is

Keyboard backlight fails with recent kernels
I do not use my laptop often, normally my better half has possession and
use of it.
It is a late 2011 ASUS ROG G73S which performs very well.
The keyboard backlight was an issue initially under CentOS6, but the
kind folks at elrepo found the missing bits in a more recent kernel and
created a package to add them to the older CentOS6 kernel.
An upgrade to CentOS7 went without a hitch and the

Slow performance with NFSv4.1 on CentOS 7.5 ?
We have a number of identical NFS clients mounting a server using
NFSv4.1 - server and clients are all running CentOS 7.5 (kernel
3.10.0-862.14.4.el7.x86_64)
However, on some clients, the NFS performance 'degrades' with time ...
Running a simple test - a python script that just imports a module
(python and its modules are installed on the NFS share) can be an order
of magnitude or

Hi all,
I have a number of Gnome/X desktop workstations with NVidia GeForce GT

index corruption weirdness
We have started seeing index corruption ever since we upgraded (we
believe) our imap servers from SL6 to Centos 7. Mail/Indexes are stored
on Netapps mounted via NFS. We have 2 lvs servers running surealived in
dr/wlc, 2 directors and 6 backend imap/pop servers.
Most of the core dumps I've looked at for different users are like
"Backtrace 2" with some variations on folder path.

Error logs with virtual folder after upgrading to 2.3.4
If you are using systemd, you might want to create
/etc/systemd/system/service.dovecot.d/override.conf
with
ProtectSystem=no
if you want writable /etc directory.
