Newer versoin of tar 1.26 on Centos 7
I have no idea what 'Yocto' is, but CentOS 7 includes two other tar utilities: 'bsdtar' and 'star' Maybe one of those will give you what you need? VirtualBox extensions and the new kernel
I've been running Centos for different purposes in a VirtualBox environment for quite long now. But the newest kernels miss something so I can get the VirtualBox Extensions linked in. I can see in the virtualbox log file that I shall run maken oldconfig and make, but I get these errors: # make oldconfig && make prepare scripts/kconfig/conf --oldconfig Kconfig # # configuration

Problems compiling kernel module
Hi I just upgraded a virtual Centos from 7.5 to 7.6 and now the VirtualBox Extensions won't compile with the kernel. I looked into the log file and found that I should try to execute: make oldconfig && make prepare but I get this result: scripts/kconfig/conf --oldconfig Kconfig # # configuration written to .config # scripts/kconfig/conf --silentoldconfig Kconfig make[1]: ***

CentOS 7.6 1810 vs. VirtualBox : bug with keyboard layout selection
Le 04/01/2019 ? 14:42, Jonathan Billings a ?crit?: > If I were running a VM on a linux system, I'd probably use > KVM/qemu/libvirt. I'm sure that was exhaustively tested. This is what I normally use. My only use for VirtualBox is making screenshots of the installer, and sometimes for a quick test, because it's easy to make a VM clone in a single click. Niki -- Microlinux -

upgrading an R installation to next versoin
When I install a new version of R (Windows XP) I have to: 1. copy my rw....\etc\Rprofile.site file to the new installation 2. copy the rw....\share\texmf files to the tex subfolder of the miktex root directory and then refresh the miktex name database (I have a batch file that does this for me which I run whenever I install a new version of R.) 3. setup the shortcut key using

Hi experts, 1. I am working with large datasets (80000 rows, 20 columns) with R 1.3.0 und linux; so i try to save memory and remove unused objects. But even if i remove all objects with rm() and force the garbage collector to work with gc(), the process monitor utiliity kpm does not show a change of a single byte in memory consumption. princomp
Hello experts, as newcomer in pca, i have a question, concerning the princomp algorithm. With a dataset "r" containing 18 "input" parameters and 1 "output" parameter r[19], i got with the following fit ls <- lsfit(r[1:18],r[19]); lsdiag <- ls.diag(ls); lsdiag$std.dev a prediction error of: [1] 8.879561 what is quite reasonable. UK Daylight Savings
A quick fix for anyone running into this problem: load_schedule was crashing cron_trigger.rb#160, and I found that for triggers like "0 20 5 * * * *" it was putting in 32 for the date (even though its Mon Mar 31 04:16:21 BST 2008). Something to do with switching to day light savings I think, which concludes after 2am. I patched it by adding day = 31 if day == 32 on the line before.

undefined method `inherit'' for Merb::Test::ExampleGroup
RSpeckers: I''m trying to install this into a Merb-generated RSpec rig: http://code.jeremyevans.net/doc/fixture_dependencies/ It requires inserting their test case into RSpec. This is the documented way to do it: describe ''Post'' do inherit FixtureDependencies::SequelTestCase And that leads to the syntax error in the subject line. (No stack trace is available

[PATCH] Make "xm mem-set" be lower bound on domX-min-mem
This patch causes "xm mem-set" to be lower bound on domX-min-mem option in xend-config. Another configuration option called domU-min-mem has been introduced, which works similarly to dom0-min-mem. This is prevents users from freezing the system when doing "xm mem-set" on very low values like 32M. Signed-off-by: Aravindh Puthiyaparambil

Plan for libguestfs 1.26
It has been 3 months since the last stable release of libguestfs. I'd like to plan a new 1.26 release towards the middle/end of next month. There are some virt-builder features I'd like to get in before then: - virt-builder needs to be able to use Linux distro published cloud images as a source (without requiring a lot of manual config as now) - virt-builder must be able to

I'm pleased to announce libguestfs 1.26, a library and set of tools for accessing and modifying virtual machine disk images. This release took more than 6 months of work by a considerable number of people, and has many new features (see release notes below).
