virt-resize - guest unbootable after update-initramfs
Hi, I am having a hard time rationalizing why virt-resize would be the cause of this issue, however it appears to definitely be the trigger, hence trying this list. My environment comprises Debian 10 hosts and guests, although this issue has also been witnessed on Debian 9 hosts running Debian9/10 guests. In all cases, stable versions of libvirt, qemu-kvm, libguestfs- tools, etc running on AMD64

Custom LiveCD images with CentOS8
Is it at this moment possible to build custom LiveCD images? Are they all necessary tools available in CentOS8? I have never done this and wonder if it is still possible for C8. C7 stuff seems to be here: https://github.com/CentOS/sig-core-livemedia Not quite sure if Fedora howtos can be applied here. Any hints? Thanks, Leon

CentOS 8 as guest
Hi all , I am running C7, and C8 as guest at this time. I noticed that when right click on desktop, and select display on C8 - that the largest resolution I get is 1080p, I am running a 4K monitor - is there a way to get higher resolution in the Guest. I am running with qemu 2.0.0 Thanks, Jerry

Mouse and display issues with Windows 10 guest
Anyone managed to get a Windows 10 guest running well under qemu/kvm? I can get it up and running, but there is a major issue with losing use of the mouse, plus my display resolution is stuck at 1024x768. The mouse will work for a short time (a few seconds to a few minutes), but then stops responding. That's with the mouse coming in as the recommended QEMU tablet device. I can assign a USB

Virt-Manager and full-screen display
Hi, I have CentOS 7 with Qemu/KVM and Libvirt running on a headless HP Proliant Server. Virtual hosts are managed via Virt-Manager installed on a CentOS 7 + KDE client via SSH. Things are running quite nicely for now, I only have a few small minor details to adjust. On my main workstation running Slackware64 14.1, I also have Qemu/KVM and Virt-Manager installed. When I launch a virtual host and

qeum on centos 8 with nvme disk
Hi All - I use qemu on my centOS 7.7 box that has software raid of 2- SSD disks. I installed an nVME drive in the computer also. I tried to insall CentOS8 on it (the physical /dev/nvme0n1 with the -hda /dev/nvme0n1 as the disk. The process started installing but is really "slow" - I was expecting with the nvme device it would be much quicker. Is there something I am missing how to

Artwork localization
Hello everyone, What do you think about having localized the following CentOS components: - Rolling notes in CentOS installer. These images are shown during the installation process, once the configuration is done and you are waiting for packages to be installed. Rolling notes are a great place to promote CentOS. If they are not localized, they are shown in English language by default.
