Unix Extensions + ext3 quotas + df
Hi,
Some time ago, I reported an issue (1) regarding to the "disk free"
to Quotas mapping when Unix Extensions are enabled.
The issue still persists in RHEL 5.3 (samba-3.0.33-3.7.el5).
In the meanwhile I have found a workaround via the attached *ugly*
patch, but an official solution would be appreciated.
Best regards,
Juanjo

sshd can't access user files
Hi
We have detected a problem in sshd when trying to access user files in
order to authenticate a user via public key.
In our system, each unix group has a separate home directory with 0750
permissions owned by root.group, therefore a user can access his home
directory thanks to his group ownership.
After installing OpenSSH 2.3.0p1 on this system we noticed that public

Hi,
I am looking for centos-release-8.1-1.1911.0.9.el8.src.rpm.
Does anyone know where to find it. The only thing I see in vault is
centos-release-8.1-1.1911.0.8.el8.src.rpm.

dbus packages' versions not making sense
I have installed 1.12.8-10.el8_2, but when trying to install dbus-devel it is not available for that version, only 1.12.8-9.el8, which is also not available.
Suggestions?

inherit group on new files/directories
I have a share with folders belonging to diferent groups, with
restricted access depending on unix groups.
When a user creates a file inside one of this folders I want it created
with "directory group"; I think it should be possible using "inherit
acl" but it don't work; my share configuration is:

path = /home/samba/arees

crosstabulation
Hi,
I find difficult to read crosstabulated data without percentages, so I wrote
this dirty function that may be useful to others. It only works up to 3
dimensions since I am not very good at programming in R. I would appreciate
if someone else has a better similar function or can improve this one.
As an example of use:

CentOS Stream 8 sssd.service failing part of sssd-common-2.8.1-1.el8.x86_64 baseos package
Hello everybody,
A recent update of the sssd-common-2.8.1-1.el8.x86_64 package is causing
sssd.service systemctl failures all over my CentosOS machines.
What is the best way to report this issue and when can we expect an
update from the sssd-common package for this regression bug?
I think sssd-common is part of the baseos repository and installed even

Hello everybody,
I am using pxelinux to install centos stream 9 systems but this stopped
working a while ago with mirror.stream.centos.org because it started
forcing HTTPS and pxelinux is HTTP only.
Could we please make the mirror.stream.centos.org HTTP available again
please?
