XDC2016
Hi everybody, I saw that some more appeared on the list of Attendees, so it might be a good time to ask how we want to organize the stay and if we plan to book at the same place like we did on fosdem (well more or less). Also how does everybody plans to stay? I was thinking about Tuesday to Sunday, but if everybody comes at Monday already, I might change my plans ;) PS: if discussing that in

R 3.4.0 RPMS
Dear Tom, I see that RPMS for R 3.4.0 are not successfully built on Fedora, nor on RHEL 7. https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=1230 When I build with mock on Fedora 25 I also get a build failure. R is not able to establish the time zone inside the chroot and this triggers a regression tests which is new in R 3.4.0. Specifically, in file tests/reg-tests-1d.R this test

FOSDEM?
Hi all, A couple of people are trying to convince me to come to FOSDEM in Belgium at the end of February. I''m a bit hesitant because I''ve been doing so much travel, but LinuxConf.au was a great experience and seems to have really helped get exposure to Puppet. There seems to be a pretty strong European contingent of Puppet users, and it''d be great to meet

Plan for nbdkit 1.8
I would really like to release a new stable nbdkit (1.8) soon. The reasons are not only because of the many great new features (which I summarise below) but also a few practical reasons: - Dropping mandatory [key=].. (ie. "magic config key") for many plugin parameters makes nbdkit much easier to use and easier to describe to potential users. - Demonstrated utility of log filter

CentOS at FOSDEM
Hi all, FOSDEM is coming and it would be nice if CentOS users and developers are present. FOSDEM will take place at 24 and 25 february 2007. (so mark those dates in your calendar!) I guess what we need is a wiki page about FOSDEM linked from some 'CentOS events' page and then people can start planning and indicating who's coming and what the topics could be. Since the developer
