Twin HDMI
Hello,
I have an Intel NUC7PJYH running CentOS 6.8. This is a NUC with standard USB, 1GbE and 2*HDMI.
Installation was no problem providing acpi=off.
The problem is that by default the two displays are mirrored and I can?t seem to separate them.
I can only see one HDMI port from CentOS.
I need to see both HDMI ports discreetly.
Can you please help.

IBM x3500 M3 and CentOS 7.*
Hello,
Please can anyone help with the problem below when trying to install CentOS 7.6 on an IBM x3500 M3 from DVD or USB.
CentOS 7.5 installs perfectly with no errors.
CentOS 7.6 tries to boot, an error is output briefly and the workstation powers down.

I also tried RHEL 7.6 which installs perfectly with

Intel Skylake Server
Hello,
I have a pre-production Intel Skylake server using dual 8176 processors (28 core @2.1Ghz)
I have loaded from the DVD distribution CentOS 7.3 and RHEL 7.4 with no problems.
When I try and load CentOS 6.9 the boot process hangs just as the Anaconda graphics is started for CentOS configuration.
If I use a secondary graphics card then the process completes with no problems and CentOS boots

Intel Skylake Server
CentOS 6.9 has support for the Haswell processor which is a subset of the
Skylake.
All Skylake server ancillary components work perfectly with CentOS 6.9.
The AST2500 used with the Skylake is very good and will process UHD. However
this is not backwards compatible with legacy variants.
To make it work an ancillary graphics card is required which is less than
$100. This will not break the

Intel Skylake
Hello,
There was a support issue with the Intel Skylake and CentOS 6.* where the graphics hardware was not supported.
Intel have now come up with a software solution to support the AST2500 graphics hardware on the Skylake.

explain strange behavior
In my bin directory, most of the binaries are linked to it. It is in my
path. I have googled this and cannot find anything close.
I am running bash on centos6.8
When I run "which command" most of the files in this custom bin
directory show up.
When I run "which file.jar" it cannot see it, but I can *ls* the file
(soft link)
as which only works on executables

truncated regression out-of-sample predictions
Dear all,
I am trying to implement Simar & Wilson's (2007) second algorithm and
have the following question: If I use a truncated regression on the m<n
observations, how do I get fitted values for all n observations, instead
of for m observations, which is what the command fitted returns; I would
need these to construct the left-truncation needed to draw n random
deviates.

Hi all, still again here...
I'm doing some working to start the Italian translation job (build a

I've analyzed the wiki software (MoinMoin) and found it extremely
useful and simple
and I'm trying to get in touch with the it-translator-team of that platform.
I've two questions :

I am trying to run some bootstraps with the boot package. When I run
it with 400 replicates it does it ok, but then I need to run the same
analysis but with 89, 86, 102 and 106 samples (for four different
environments), and then is when I get the error message:

XRDB not in our centos6.8 build
I am a bit baffled on this.
We recently rebuilt all our servers to CentOS release 6.8 (Final) from
a prior 6.x centos release. We ran into a couple of problems such as
Java not working (just had to yum install java). It was installed, but
unable to create a java machine, until I yum install java solved the
problem.
But now a user (the big boss) is receiving xrdp errors. And it appears

Best laptop with NVIDIA graphics
Good afternoon,
I've been using CentOS for many, many years. I'm looking for a good
laptop with 4 cores that has an NVIDIA GPU with dedicated memory. I'd
prefer a GTX 10** series but the older 9** series is fine.
Any recommendations?
Thanks!
