Rsync snapshot on Linux from Windows server
I've been trying to set up a script (inspired by Mike Rubel's scripts) to
perform rotating snapshots of the users folders on a Windows server. The
machine storing the snapshots is Linux. I have the Windows machine configured
as an rsync server, with rsync 2.5.6 and cygwin 1.5.7-1, and the Linux machine
has rsync 2.6.0
The objective is to have regular snapshot backups that users can

R talks at LSM 2007
Dear R users and developers,
Would any of you be interested in giving a lecture about R and/or R
use cases at the following free software conference that takes place
in Amiens, France, next summer?
We already had a talk on R last year by Yves Croissant
(http://2006.rmll.info/theme_26?lang=en) but are still open to any
submission this year.
We expect some talks this year (to be confirmed) about

Asterisk NOT in the media path
Hello,
I want to place an Asterisk-server A in front of 2 other
Asterisk-servers (B1 & B2).
This first Asterisk-server A needs to send incoming calls to one of the
2 available Asterisk-servers (B1 or B2) behind it.
So I want the first Asterisk-server A to accept the call, and based upon
some checks in the dialplan send the call through to one of the other
Asterisk-servers (B1 or B2)

multiple plot in odfWeave
Hello R users,
I found the odfWeave package to create an odf document. It seems to be a
very nice tool.
So i tried to used it to create a report with multiple plot:
I create an odt file with some code inside:
I connect to a mysql database
I get a list of projects
foreach project I would like to make a plot (a map exactly)
then in a R console I use the odfweave (inFile, outFile) function.

[PATCH] drm/nouveau/clk: Initial implementation for reclocking NVAA/NVAC
Reclocking of NVAA/NVAC is substantially different from NV50+, enough to justify a separate clock implementation. This code is a forward-port of reclocking code that has been sitting in a branch for a while, and has been tested on my NVAC. Traces show no significant reasons why this shouldn't work on NVAA, but testers are always welcome. And since these are IGPs without dedicated RAM to

[PATCH] nv50/disp: Fix modeset on G94
Commit 1dce6264045cd23e9c07574ed0bb31c7dce9354f introduced a regression spotted
on several G94 (FDObz #85160). This device seems to expect the vblank period to
be set after setting scale instead of before.
V2: shove this in a separate function
This is a candidate bug-fix for 3.18

Rsyncing Windows directory to a Linux box: problem with spaces in directory names
Hello,
I am trying to rsync folders/files hosted on a Windows machine to a
Linux machine. Many of the directory names have spaces in them.
How can I list them in a file so that the --include-from option use
them correctly?
Thanks!

problem with plot() and POSIXt dates
Hy all,
I'm plotting graphs using plot() function, they are on X axes POSIX dates:
"POSIXt" "oldClass" "POSIXct" "POSIXlt"
I can't figure out why sometimes it prints the month and days and sometimes it prints the unix timestamp.
It appens usually when the xlim is short like only some days.
xlim is settled as a POSIXt like this
