I tried making my own repo with just the groups in them and I got an error.... I would like to install xfce from the "extras" repo - but when I run: yum groupinstall XFCE-4.4 I get: Warning: Group XFCE-4.4 does not exist. Also 'yum grouplist' appears to only show the base groups ... Is there anything else I have to do to install xfce? Thanks James Pearson

Hello, I am working on a kickstart automated Centos 7 GUI vm deployment. Defining gnome desktop in kickstart works. @gnome-desktop - A GNOME desktop However Centos and anything from the epel-release such as xrdp does not work. I have tried it on different ways. repo --name=epel-release %packages #epel-release # DOES NOT WORK @ Core #@core @ Base

I had to make a minimal install and now Im installing some packages I need. I decided to use xfce as desktop, but after install, I cant find a way to set is as preferred desktop environment. Hi All, I downloaded: http://mirror.centos.org/altarch/7/isos/armhfp/ for the PI3 This article says the PI3 runs X. http://news.softpedia.com/news/centos-7-linux-officially-released-for-raspberry-pi-2-banana-pi-and-cubietruck-497891.shtml When I groupinstall Gnome desktop and reboot, then run startx I get an error about no screens found.
