specifying as.svrepdesign with odd number PSUs
Is there a way to create a BRR svrepdesign from a survey design when the number of PSUs is odd in one or more stratum? Creating a JKn svrepdesign with that condition works okay, but when I tried to create a svrepdesign with type="BRR" I get an error and this message: "Can't split with odd numbers of PSUs in a stratum" I get that message when I tell it to merge the

Possibility to set NUT drivers to "monitor only"?
Hello, and welcome to the NUT community! :) On one hand, it would generally help to read up the documentation about NUT architecture, seeing as it is a crucial part of your systems' uptime and data integrity. On another hand, for this particular use-case: it is quite possible to set up monitoring-only systems which only inform you if some *other* NUT data server has had interesting

UPS Groups?
Maybe this will clear up what I was initially thinking. In this diagram all lines on the right of the UPSs are power lines and all lines on the left are serial/usb lines. .---. +--|UPS+-----+--------+--------+---... | | A1| | | | | '---' .---+--. .---+--. .---+--. | |Server| |Server| |Server| | | A1 | | A2 | |

Two servers with redundant supplies on two UPSs
Scenario: * Two windows 2003 servers (different models) * Each server has two PSUs * Each server has a single serial port * Two UPSs are available of the exact same type (XPower Tigra 1kVA). Each has a serial port * The 1st PSU of each server is powered by the 1st UPS * The 2nd PSU of each server is powered by the 2nd UPS I am trying to install NUT on the best "optimal" way for these

UPS Groups?
I've used nut for simple configurations before but now one has grown to a more complex setup and can't seem to find any info online. I would like to have single central nut master monitor a bank of UPSs for a whole rack of servers with redundant PSUs. So UPS A1 ---> Server group A PSU 1 UPS A2 ---> Server group A PSU 2 UPS B1 ---> Server group B PSU 1 UPS B2 ---> Server

Trapezoid Rule
Dear R Users, I've never used R before and my professor has asked us to do some pretty intense programming (or it's intense to me at least). Here is the question: Modify the function myquadrature inside the script so that it returns the quadrature of descrete data using the trapezoidal rule. Modify the call to the function at the bottom of the script so that is uses your modifies

MATLAB vrs. R
I need to find the area under a trapezoid for a research-related project. I was able to find the area under the trapezoid in MATLAB using the code: function [int] = myquadrature(f,a,b) % user-defined quadrature function % integrate data f from x=a to x=b assuming f is equally spaced over the interval % use type % determine number of data points npts = prod(size(f)); nint = npts -1; %number of

Turn on UPS via USB
Our server has 2 UPS on 2 PSUs. At 8am, someone unplugged one UPS. At 8:10, they plugged it back in, but turned off the load - presumably to stop the beeping. So the system is still up on 1 PSU, and can talk to both UPS. Can't I turn on the load via USB? upsc output for the UPS that is off: battery.charge: 100 battery.charge.low: 15 battery.charge.warning: 50 battery.date: 2001/09/25

24V DC ATX PSU with limited UPS functionality over USB
Hello Developers and *, I am working on a "24V DC ATX PSU" for Photopholtaik Systems which can have input voltages from 18V to 27.7 Volt and is entirely modular, which mean, you can select the desired module/s (up to 6) from ATX (96/144/240/300W), P4 (144W), SATA (82/305W) and Device (34/68/136W) And last not least, I want to build a "PowerWhatch" module which should be

UPS issues with PFC PSU
Just noticed that our new server has a newer 80+ efficiency 865W PSU with PFC. So apparenty our existing 1500VA (865W) APC Back-UPS is not safe to use anymore. We apparently need a pure sine wave UPS. http://nam-en.apc.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/8883 I found an affordable 1500VA UPS by CyberPower, model CP1500PFCLCD, which has a pure sine wave output. Wondering if anyone has experience with

Shading in prediction intervals
I have the following code for the minimum and maximum of my prediction interval > y.down=lines(x[x.order], set1.pred[,2][x.order], col=109) > y.up=lines(x[x.order], set1.pred[,3][x.order], col=109) domain=min(x):max(x) polygon(c(domain,rev(domain)),c(y.up,rev(y.down)),col=109) It doesnt seem to shade the right region, it gives me a trapezoid. Any help? Thanks!
