PHP FPM issue
Hi Marius, Will make the changes and see how it goes. On the other hand https://cbs.centos.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=27138 if the above was released we could just install and migrate to rh-php73-php, which is not affected as per https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/cve-2019-11043 thanks --- Thomas Stephen Lee On Thu, Oct 31, 2019 at 8:40 PM Marius ROMAN <marius at roman.systems>

CentOS 7.6 and Xen 4.6
Hey all, In order to make sure SIG content is "fresh", whenever a new version of CentOS comes out, content is discarded automatically unless SIG chairs specifically request it to be moved over. Hi, I'm currently fine-tuning OwnCloud on a CentOS 7 server. To configure transactional locking, I need Redis with the corresponding PHP module. Until recently the server has been running PHP 7.1. I simply installed the 'redis' package as well as 'sclo-php71-php-pecl-redis', started and/or restarted a handful of services, and things worked perfectly. Now I'm upgrading my

CentOS, PHP & OwnCloud/Nextcloud: the version dilemma
Unfortunately the same can be said about Ruby, RoR, Python etc etc etc. Personally I think it's perfectly reasonable to track Nextcloud upgrades combined with SCL major upgrades once every couple of years. OwnCloud vs NextCloud
The Nextcloud has more features and all are for free. The ownCloud has some for enterprise features which are paid. Soo i think the choice is clear. niedz., 23 lut 2020 o 02:35 H <agents at meddatainc.com> napisa?(a): > I am planning to install either ownCloud or NextCloud on a CentOS 7 VPS > server I control. OwnCloud vs NextCloud
OwnCloud came first, but IIRC, when the business managers took it partially commercial, the original developer split and forked it to make NextCloud as he didn't like the OwnCloud policies [1] [1] https://karlitschek.de/2016/04/big-changes-i-am-leaving-owncloud-inc-today/ -- -john r pierce recycling used bits in santa cruz

nextcloud files_external:notify: "Due to limitations of linux based SMB servers, this feature only works reliably on Windows SMB servers"
Hello everybody, I am wondering if anyone know more about the fact that the official nextcloud documentation states it does not work with linux based smb servers for notify support? https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/latest/admin_manual/configuration_files/external_storage/smb.html "Due to limitations of linux based SMB servers, this feature only works reliably on Windows SMB
