DHCP timeout and mysteriously dropping IP address
Hi everyone, I'me having trouble with a CentOS 7 guest running on a Hyper-V host. For some reason, the CentOS guest randomly drops its IP address. Running "systemctl restart NetworkManager" on the console will restore IP connectivity without a reboot. I think that DHCP is timing out, but I'm not sure what to do about it. Is there a way to tell NetworkManager to keep trying after

CentOS-7 re-install
Ok, how is this supposed to work? I have re-installed CentOS-7 over the first install. On the "Installation Destination" (JHC can they make these name any more pretentious? What happened to boot disk?) I have exactly one ATA WD5000. I chose 'I will configure partitioning'. On the Manual Partitioning page I see the previous installation file-system. I select each of the mount

I have '/var/log/deamon.log' > and it contains lines in the format above, they all start with the date. I used a grep to find the lines with "denied" and posted. If I get the logs directly from syslog, it usually

evil disconnect of call with cisco 1760
I have asterisk 1.6.2.11 talking to a cisco 1760 running ipvoicek9-mz.124-25b. whenever a call goes through the 1760's FXO or FXS (in or out) there is a 915 second maximum call time due to asterisk hanging up the call because of a "critical packet" being missed. I read doc/sip-retransmit.txt and I don't see anything there that is helpful to my situation - the asterisk box is

Silence is the best answer evil.
For a sensible men, every day is a new beginning, of course you can plan their ideal and future, can even around the world looking for better opportunities, but don't forget, we must first for "today's milk effort", in every "today" persistent and dependably every step perfectly well, demonstrated in your eyes will be spring brightness. cheap clothing

Evil Player
I tried Evil Player on Macpup 528. Installs fine, doesn't create menu entries though, which may be more a problem with Macpup. Works fine but freezes when I try to add url radio streams.

Temple of elemental evil - high CPU usage by X/ToEE
I installed ToEE under wine 0.9.42 and used ToEE noCD "patch" to make it working but the problem is it's very slow. top says X is using 95% of CPU and ToEE.exe 4,7% - 2 biggest processes. Also in terminal wine throws a lot of: fixme:d3d_draw:drawStridedFast >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GL_INVALID_OPERATION (0x502) from glDrawRangeElements @

[PATCH 2/6] drm/dp_mst: Remove all evil duplicate state pointers
There's no reason to track the atomic state three times. Unfortunately, this is currently what we're doing, and even worse is that there is only one actually correct state pointer: the one in mst_state->base.state. mgr->state never seems to be used, along with the one in mst_state->state. This confused me for over 4 hours until I realized there was no magic behind these pointers.

Evil Genius Crashes unexpectedly
Hey there! I've been playing Evil Genius on steam and for the most part it works fine, but frequently (sometimes more frequently than others) it crashes at very inopportune times. The wine page for the game talks about unexpected crashes, but it sounds like these are related to the game autosaving, and I turned off my autosaving yet this persists. Here's what my terminal (The first bit

Video calls using Cisco phones are 176x144(QCIF) and 15FPS both ways
We are experiencing an issue with our Cisco 9971 and 8945 phones where H264 video calls are connecting at 176x144 resolution instead of 640x480. Soft clients can connect at higher resolutions and the 9971 can even receive video at a higher resolution (although it still sends 176x144). I contacted one of the developers and he suggested the passthrough of SDP attributes is not working correctly.
