how to determine what's installed from a repository?
Hello all--
I am trying to determine what I have isntalled from a given repository.
I have seen several references to "yum repo-pkgs" which I think is what
would work for me, but "repo-pkgs" does not seem to be a part of
yum 3.2.29. Is this a yum add on that I could get somewhere?

Package Updater problems
Hello!
I'm afraid that I don't understand redhat's bugzilla -- there's an
approx 10-character wide box for reporting the bug and it always claims
that that's not a bug. I'm sure I'm missing something.
Anyway, here's the problems:
Using Centos 5.2 and the "Software Updater/Package Updater/pup", I
winnowed the problem updates down to six packages:

Possible bug?
I had some problems with apache, and there were so many, (caused by
removing ispconfig) I decided to just remove and re-install. This is
what happened when I tried to do so, both from remote and via console.
I tried the DVD as well as yum, and got essentially the same thing. My
webserver is down, and I'd sure like to get this fixed if anyone can
help out.

Issues with vsftpd install
For an unrelated reason, I had to uninstall vsftpd from my CentOS 5.3
install.
When I went "yum install vsftpd.i386", I get this:

CentOS release 5.3 (Final) yum update error TypeError: unsubscriptable object
Just FYI. This machine has been offline and not updated for several months.
I booted it and ran yum update. It generated an error. I googled the error,
no hits. I did "yum clean all". Tried yum update again, it finished
dependency resolution and reported some missing dependencies. I can deal
with that.

Yum errors
Hi,
I have a machine that recently had some file system corruption. fsck was able
repair the file system but I am getting the following error when I try to
do yum update:

A really newbie question
Hi,
I have been playing around with Ruby after reading so much about it, and
so I started tweaking with auto generated scaffold.
But it seems like I must be missing something, can someone else please
help me take a look and give me a couple pointers? In short I was trying
to make a class User that has a method addupdate with 2 parameters
(alias and email) which would either update the

parsing icecast 1 and icecast2 logs in GUI web format
Hi Kerry,
Some time ago I had to setup mrtg graphing too.
I'll try to give a short outline of what I did:
1. how do I get listener numbers into MRTG?
2. how to interface XSLT with MRTG?
3. how to set up MRTG?
1. I chose to use the xslt-features provided by Icecast and placed files called lstn-*.xsl for every mountpoint in the icecast web-root. The sole purpose of this xslt-sheet is

Eisele,
Would you mind sharing with myself and other what you did to get this
running? I am very familiar with webalizer, but perhaps others are not
so.
I'd be curious to see your scripts for getting it to work with MRTG
seeing as how I use that often as well.
Thanks.
